Vapor Flask V3 DNA40 Clone thread

New to the forum so bare with me, got a brass top and bottom VF from 3fvape right before the CNY for the wife. This thing has worked like a charm, but today she brings it to me and shows me the bottom up and down button has pushed in all the way into the case. Took the top off to see if something came loose, but everything is so stuffed in there I was afraid of pulling out a wire or two. This VF does have round robin so it's not broke, but I put a email into 3fvape just to see what they might do for this. On the chance they ignore me, has anyone pulled the guts out of these VF yet and how hard would this be to fix? Or just leave it alone?

So far 3FVape has proven to provide impeccable customer service so I would be surprised if they don't stand behind it. In fact, they have already sent a new flask to @Blueridgedog due to only one working battery slot & told him to keep the old one as an apology for his inconvience.
I imagine the repair will require dis-assembly to gain access and hot glue to remount the switch but I woud have thought the metal switch mounting flange would have prevented it from pushing in. Doubt you will need them but i Think the buttons are same as on Hana so I'm sure you could get replacements easy enough at fasttech or another supplier someone here will recommend if necessary.

Wow they have updated the pictures they look great
Only thing holding me back is the non adjustable pin......I use a Naut, Atlantis and Subtank and as far as i know these all have non adjustable pins. So i have to have a mod that has a adjustable pin

I am torn between 3FVapes #1660 and #2806
#2806: Pros: I love the stainless steel and the customized airflow cut out that matches the body. I love the lower usb port. For some reason, that makes a huge difference to me. The engraving on the bottom is "sick as ..... (you know)"
#2806: Cons: The unknown about what lies beneath. That dag gone fixed pin. (Can I pull the pin if it gets pressed to low?)
#1660ros: Tried and Tested. Adjustable pin.
#1660:Cons: Copper or Bronze 510. Not as much scale as the previous.
I think I am going to go with the #2806, I tend to gamble, and for 76 bucks, its not that much of a risky gamble. Plus if the board sucks, I have a nice Flask body to build in.

With the 3FV #2806 do you think you could put a fat daddy 510 but keep the clone top SS plate. So basically just use the pin
Got my flask in the mail today. Bought it off a guy on Reddit for $107 shipped for the Flask, two sets of Samsung 25r, and 100ft of 28gauge NI200. When I first got it from the post office, I tried my Orchid V4 clone on it and all I got was "Atomizer Open" and no output. Tried adjusting the pin and still the same thing. Thinking I had gotten a bum unit, took it home and tried my Big Buddha on it and it works fine in normal mode. My question is this : With this being the brass 510 and battery doors, does it not work on atomizers with a brass center pin? My Orchid has a brass pin and the Buddha has SS. Works on the Buddha but not the Orchid. Has anyone else come across this problem?
Is the 510 center pin on your Flask adjustable? Sounds like it needs to be not as deep.
It is adjustable. I adjusted it up so I know it's making contact and it still says Atomizer Open.
Just tightened the pin on the Orchid and all is working well.

Which direction was the wind blowing. I know I have run into things like that and with regular everyday mods and Kanthal. No explanation I am beginning to think it is all magic.
I think that's the 2834 (aka "v3"), has a 510 w/stainless threads w/a brass non adjustable center pin. Are you saying you like that exact model, or are any of the similar models they have okay? I think none of them now have a spring loaded 510, it looks like p/n 1660 (aka "Upgraded" version- has USB charging) has an adjustable 510 (at least it shows a slotted center pin) but that may be an old photo. They refer to the 510 as being "Revised 510 connector; The center pin is not spring loaded" on the 1660. Just trying to make sense out of it all.This one I would take:
