Hmm, ok. Well, as you know, I sent mine in after you I believe and have it back. I sent my other one in last Friday and was told by Preston on FB yesterday afternoon that it was being shipped out yesterday. Although, I didn't receive tracking information this time.

Yeah, I think you did too....I am about to board a plane from Memphis to Atlanta, but I will message Preston when I get home to Boston tonight...

Too bad I don't have more time in Atlanta; I could just go pick it up myself!! lol....

I'll echo that. I don't think they have a terribly sophisticated tracking process for RMAs. I emailed to confirm receipt of my device and check on status about a week after USPS indicated it had arrived with them. He said that they did receive it and that it was in the repair process. Three hours later I came back to my office and there it was. It appears to be a little bit of a crap circus over there but they seem to be trying to do good by everyone the best they can.

Hey guys! Just got a VaporFlask for Christmas and I'm loving it! I'm happy to be part of the family. It's nice that it's the new version with the updated 510 and I didn't get a bad board. I'm still waiting on my Lemo and kayfun v4 in the mail.

The only difference in the new 510 is a single air channel.

Yep, Hana now has a spring-loaded 510 connection. I picked up a Hana DNA 40 to keep me company until my Flask makes it back to me. the spring-loaded 510 on the Hana is quite similar to the one on the flask....both work very well.....

Yeah they just changed it to a single air channel. I actually think it looks much better. Some people have said it's not enough air or whatever but I don't think there are many atomizers these days that even get air from the 510. Plus the spring loaded pin is really nice. You don't have to mess with screwing it up or down.

I haven't heard anything about Celsius. I don't even think there is a new chip version it's just a new mod version. The site seems legit though.

Yeah I was worried at first because I hadn't heard of them and VaporFlask recommends the other site, but after doing some research they seem like a good site. Thanks for confirming it I'll have to order from them again.

Please note these latest release DNA40D boards allow operation/display in Celsius or Fahrenheit.


Temperature Adjust mode. Once this mode is entered, the max temperature will be displayed. The up and down buttons are used to adjust the max temperature. To switch from Fahrenheit mode to Celsius mode, adjust the temperature down below 200F and the DNA 40 will display degrees in Celsius. Once in Celsius mode, use the same procedure to switch back to Fahrenheit.

I'm thinking its a bit cumbersome with the squonk hole placement.

Agreed sedge. I think it would be better if the squonk hole would need to be a bit higher to be pressed by the thumb. I just got finished watching and was coming in here to post that. I'll add to that the following: They also have an RDA in development. There will also be special edition color versions 1st quarter '15.

Here's a screen grab from the video showing their mounting fixture. This is plastic and shows why the usb wobbles. Charlie was adamant that it is secure and that is the way it was designed.
