apparently theres going to be a new version with stainless steel battery caps stated in Plumes of Hazard video

There are currently a couple that come with the SS batt caps. The Black Tie and the five pawns editions.

Yup, I've noticed this too with my Marsala. I believe they've finally opened up the battery holes to accommodate more batteries.

Ha ha ha! Umm, no, I'm not Jeff Gordon.

I was a fan of Cale Yarborough when I first starting watching NASCAR back in '74. When he retired I became a fan of Bill Elliot, mainly because of his car number. The #9 (my other favorite number) Coors. Along came this new kid with my favorite number, 24. So I became a fan of Jeff and have been his whole career. Bill Elliot's son Chase is supposed to be driving the #24 next year so I'll probably start rooting for him.

Ah, that's Preston Kight's Flask. Probably a beta of the new ones or perhaps all new ones will have the logo positioned there.

Other than Facebook Messenger, what is the best way to contact Vapor Flask?

They received my RMA over a week ago and I haven't heard a peep despite my inquiries.

What are you expecting to here "sedge"?

They don't talk much. The only person that I had consistent communications with was the guy that heads up the Face Book page.

My question was really to find out what additional information you need or want. If you filled out the RMA for you should be good to go. Is there some problem or aspect of the RMA you are not sure about?

Not a big NASCAR fan, but a big Jeff Gordon fan. We started watching him on ESPNs Thursday Night Thunder back in the 80s. He was a high-school kid beating up on all the vets in Sprint Car and Midgets at IRP. Watched him lap the field on more than one occasion! Man, that kid could drive. I would love to have seen what he could have done F1...(F1>everything)

OK - I have to take care of some other business.

What I was fishing for was why you needed further communications with Vapor Flask? If you filled out the RMA all you need to do is send the unit in for repair. Include a note with your problems described and your personal information.

That is about the extent of the Vapor Flask RMA procedure.

The procedure to the best of my knowledge is fill out the RMA and send it. If you are expecting an RMA number or something conventional back from them like post paid envelope you can forget it.

There process, at least for me, was so simple and unconventional that it put me off guard on how to proceed.

I think sedge just wants to know what the status of his Flask is.

Oh - ok, I was thinking he was holding on to it waiting on an RMA number (never to come) and/or a prepaid envelope (never to come) and yes the only way I could find status or get a reply was thru FB and Mr. Peterson but I couldn't remember his name when responding to Sedge.

Actually I think I am going thru one of my male Menopause events and I am feeling a little cranky - so any talk about the Vapor Flask RMA process kind of sets me off. :facepalm:
