If you use FB you can contact Preston easily in the Vapor Flask Owner's group. He is very prompt in responding there.

Yep...or, you can get him directly at customerservice@vaporflask.com .......He's been great at keeping in touch with me when I email him.

Been without my Flask for about 2 weeks. I figured it would take at least this long, so I am not growing impatient as of yet.......

I must have been good this year, 'cause THIS MUTHERFUGGER IS AWESOME!!

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about: Ni200 coil was simple, temp mode is working perfectly, my Flask looks fantastic, no "crunchy" threads, USB port works like any other, every battery I have slipped right in, and Boba's has NEVER tasted better!

I SOooo just jinxed myself :)

Lol does the USB port not wobble? Are the buttons aligned?

Yeah, the USB port is wobbly, Ni200 is a royal pain in the azz, and I have NO idea what I'm doing yet. But I'll take beginners luck any day!

Fit and finish couldn't be better: The buttons (which are flawless) are exactly the same height, screws look like they've never been used, the top cap aligns perfectly, and there's not a scratch on it anywhere. My screen isn't perfectly straight, but if I hadn't have been looking for it, I wouldn't have noticed. (it's really close to perfect)

I went with a single spaced twisted 30awg and got totally lucky on the resistance. I tried to get it to mess up, but this thing seems to like me!

Well I got mine back... It's mine bc I forgot I put a clear jwrap on mine and it's still on there... Looks like they tested it before it left them because it was at 420 at 40 watts (new chips come set to 1 watt)... And it worked when I vaped on it... It's not the newest board because it doesn't do Celsius ... But I'm just happy it works and besides I'm 'murican, what's a Celsius????

Here's hoping... I'm cautiously optimistic!

Edit: screen is still a little crooked but I'm not gonna mess with anything! I can live with it

So I finally got some nickel wire and got to work on my RDA, temperature protection worked great.

Turned it off to vape my Atlantis in the car when I'm out doing errands...still great

Tried to turn TP back on now that I'm home and ...??? It won't turn back on.

In locked mode I'm holding the up and down buttons, it lets me navigate to the temp I want, I press the fire button and see the locked screen. When I unlock I still see the volts instead of the temp like before.

Am I doing something wrong here?

From what I gather, this condition usually means that there is a connection issue in your atty. You may want to double check your connections and try it again.

I had the opposite problem with my Flask, where it would stay in TP mode with a Kanthal build on the mod....there were other issues as well, but hopefully a new chip will address these issues.

Yeah, the connections are solid. Think I'll need a new board?

Hmmm.....

You also shouldn't have to "turn off" TP mode when you put a kanthal build on the mod. The chip should sense that it's a kanthal build and automatically exit TP mode and go into voltage mode....

Then, when you put a nickel build back on it should switch back....

So I'm not sure. When you put the nickel build back on does it prompt you for a new coil? What is your resistance with the nickel build just outta curiosity?

And remember, the only issue that Evolv is admitting to is the screen glitch issue, so I'm not sure what's causing your condition.

Hopefully we can help you work through it though! :)

Just tried everything all over just to double check. Turned TP off, switched between a .56 kanthal and a .98 nickel...it recognized the changes but did not ask about a new coil and with TP off it shouldn't have. Put the nickel build on and tried to turn on TP, moved it to 400F and hit the fire button but when I unlocked it it was still displaying volts instead of temp. Switched to kanthal and it did ask me if this was a new coil, click up for yes and it vaped fine. Switched back to nickel and again it asked me if this was a new coil, hit up again and it vapes but again just has a voltage read out, not temp and it's not limiting.

The coil is solid, no jiggle and no shorts. I'm at a lost here.

How did you get a .98 build with nickel just outta curiosity? That's a heck of a lot of wraps!!

Maybe the chip is getting confused because your nickel build is higher in resistance than your kanthal build? Not sure....

There gotta be a solution here....I'm new to all this TP stuff too (as most of us are!), so maybe one of the other guys can chime in here? :)

14 wraps, wasn't trying to sub ohm first time out.

Switched it out with a 1.8 ohm Nautilus mini, no dice.

I might just try e-mailing evolve, don't know if they would answer those sorts of questions.

Well my first attempt has been succesful so far. Bought a new kayfun to go on my VF built my first nickel coil, 13 wraps around a 3mm mandrel spaced coils nice and uniform, ohmed out at .14 installed it wicked it and fired at 410 degrees 20watts. beautiful vape! It didn't even prompt me about the coil just accepted my settings and fired in TPC mode. I really didn't expect it to be this easy after reading the forums (maybe I just jinxed myself...LOL ) it's kinda scary building a kayfun and filling it without even so much as a test fire first.

Hang in there... mine was gone a month but it was worth the wait. They really treated me well even with the delay.

Let your Atty and mod sit for 20 min so that they both come to room temp, then try again. If you had been vaping your Atlantis then switched to a nickel coil without letting the board in your mod cool all the way down to room temp it's gonna throw things off. When you switch coils, the board assumes that the board and the atomizer are at the same temp. If they're not, you'll get "glitches." Welcome to the somewhat fiddly world of TP.

Thanks for the advice, waited for like 50 minutes but unfortunately it didn't work. Emailed Evolve, see if they get back to me.

Buttons same height?

Careful, some fan boys might jump on you to tell you that it's a flaw because, you know, it's not supposed to be nice and aligned.
