w00t! Got one of my Flasks back from VF yesterday. Used it last night with the wattage cranked up to 40 without issue.

They put the latest revision of the board in it because I can go into celsius mode now. Not that I ever will but it was good to see that, signifying I got the latest revision.

Very nice, Jax!! I am still awaiting word on how mine's coming along. It's been gone for about 2 weeks now, so hopefully I'll hear something soon!

Same here: glad to see it, even if I'll never use it.

Yeah my screen was frozen when I woke up this morning... I hope it's just an isolated incident and not a something I have to send it back for again! I bought this mod in October and have only had it in my possession for 14 days!

I can't believe they didn't put the newest version in yours. Seriously, that's unbelievable!

How do you select celsius mode?

Yo Heespharm. Just my little nagging. The way I see it, the moment you get a glitch, just send it in immediately.

1) take advantage of the fact that evolv is dealing with this issue actively at this point. You never know when things die down, the whole RMA might not be this easy anymore.

2) I don't see anyone who's had much success with the whole "glitched once, hopes it doesn't happen again". In fact it almost seems like a certainty that it only gets worse. Just this morning I saw this fella on the rDNA thread whose board finally went bonkers. Like many others before him, he reported a occasional glitch, and I advised him to send it in. Nope. He refused because he couldn't bear to part with it. Now it glitches after every few puffs. I think of the glitches as a degenerative disease. Like dementia. Once it hits, it only gets worse :/

Just my 2c. I just think it's about time you stop getting hit with crap like that.

Well this wasn't the typical screen glitch... Not to mention I haven't even had it for 24 hours yet.. So I'm willing to give it the benefit of a doubt...

Also evolv is not handling the vapor flask errors anymore vapor flask is handling it now

Tried this and the new Flask I was sent last week does not go into Celsius mode...
Not that that really matters but tells me I have an older chip.

Let's just say I won't be making this mistake again. If I were to do this over I think I would stick with a company who doesn't put stuff out until they know damned well it's ready. Shoulda bought a Provari v3

From what I've heard it was bad parts which caused all of the problems with the first release chips. In fact, aren't the Beta testers still using their boards without any issues?

Well I have to agree about the Provari being bullet proof. I have two V2.5s' and they will run anything anywhere and never miss a beat. BUT the Provari V3 is way over priced in my opinion. Try a "Seven 30" for about $70 rupees. It is built like a tank literally and when you use it you can add the time to your daily workout routine.

All that said if the VaporFlask came with a couple of Aspirins and a foot or two of Ni200 (what a bunch of cheap-skates) and if evolve's WEB Site had some instructions and tips it wouldn't be such a bad deal. Mine has been working OK (knock on wood) but there is still a couple of quirks I am still trying to under stand.

I will repeat one here just to see if anyone else has encountered it. I have approx. 0.22 ohm 30 Ga. coil on it. When I put it on cold it reads ~0.26 and over time inches up to about 0.35 ohms. Now here is the strange part the Vapor production and "Cruise Control" temp stays right around 350 - 380 (TP @ 450). Now what is with that? IMHO that shouldn't be possible and no I have not added any secret ingredients to my juice. The only other problem I am having is I am going cross-eyed from staring at the display 3 inches away all the time. I wonder if Evolv has a medical plan that covers vision services. ;)

I've had my Flask for 2 weeks and so far I'm really happy with it. Just tried the Celsius mode thing and found out I don't have the latest chip. Oh well, TC mode is working great on my Kayfun 4.

The only thing that is bothering me is that the light on the charging port does not turn green, it stays red even when I know the batteries are done charging. I'm using a brand new pair of LG HE2's that were charged on a Pila before going into the Flask. Is this a know issue with the Flask? I don't really care about the light not changing as long as the Flask is not overcharging my batteries. Sorry if this has already been covered but I'm late the the Flask party and don't have time to read this entire thread.

14 wraps, wasn't trying to sub ohm first time out.

Switched it out with a 1.8 ohm Nautilus mini, no dice.

I might just try e-mailing evolve, don't know if they would answer those sorts of questions.

14 wraps and 0.98ohm , are you sure you are using ni200 nickel and not nichrome? it would explain why you cant get tc to work

My new flask doesn't go into celsius mode either guess it's not the latest version after all but no matter seems to be working fine and I have no use for celsius anyway.

Interesting. Sunday night my battery indicator was at 75% when I plugged it in and went to bed. 7 hours later and it was still red when I woke up but the indicator was at 100%. Maybe I'll leave it plugged in longer next time. Still, it seems like the light would have been green after that time. When you say it takes a long time for the light to turn green do you have an estimate?

I'm loving this mod and would hate to RMA it over something so small, especially if it is not overcharging my batteries.

Thanks for the quick response.
