Came out great. Took a few tries on my Vertex to get the nickel builds down but finally got it right. In the kayfun I got .14 ohm at 420 degrees 22.5 watts and the Black Flag tastes great.

Got a question though about the flask, it comes with the USB cable and when I charge it, it has a red light. Does that light change when its fully charged or do you go by the battery indicator on the screen?

So I received my Vaporshark rdna40 a couple of weeks ago....and it's been great..... But something has not seemed right. My Vaporshark has been in a bad mood......moping around...... Just being sad and temperamental. It took me awhile to figure it out..l..l but then it came to me.

My Vaporshark was lonely.....it makes perfect sense...... A dna40 device without a friend is a lonely dna device indeed.

So yesterday.... Purely to keep my Vaporshark company.... I went and got him a friend. :)

How u building that marquis... I can't get mine to work

Ha! I just asked JP in the High End Regulated Mods thread a similar question. I wonder if he's running it with nickel. I'm not sure how in the world I would ever be able to wick vertical nickel coils in mine.

I have seen where some are building chimney builds with nickel. I guess I need to do some more research on that to see exactly how they are wicking it and with how much material.

Oops! Sorry didn't see your question.

I actually just put a nickel build in my Marquis. And stupid me forgot to take pics of the build. I am at work now but will take pics when I get home.

IMO the Marquis is a fantastic atty to run nickel in. I went with a single 28ga. 11 wrap coil around the biggest mandrel that comes with the Marquis (3.5mm?). Came out to about .14-.16 ohms. I mounted the coil vertically rather than a chimney build. My next experiment is to try a dual 30ga. chimney build....But I'm vaping it at 32 watts at 450 degrees and it never hits TP unless the wick dries out. Excellent flavor and vapor production. I would highly recommend trying an ni200 build in the Marquis! :)

I want a marquis so bad but will have to wait for a clone. I can't swing that price tag. If you want a cheaper alternative the Origen V2 is perfect for nickel vertical could and Vapes great.

Ahh in single coil... I'm doing dual coil and it just seems muted

Yep, went with single coil. Getting great flavor from it. I wrapped around the biggest mandrel to keep the resistance where I wanted it....

Major911, I think the Marquis has already been cloned IIRC.....

Ok, I might give that a shot this weekend then. I still don't know how I am going to get it wicked without wrecking the coil. We'll see.

I'm currently running mine with kanthal in dual coil mode and the flavor is very muted. Especially when compared to my Hobo. I can barely taste but a hint of what the juice is supposed to taste like. I feel like I am just wasting good juice when I use it.

Does anyone know if the flask will get the larger screen?

It seems like I remember them talking about that in this video, but I'm not sure. For some reason I'm wanting to say they had no plan for the larger screen, but I really don't know where I heard that.

Bottom feeder VF on the horizon.

That's my understanding as well. No larger screen in the Flask. Not sure if that was in the video or if I read that on the VF Owners group FB page.

They'd have to change their tooling to make the window larger to accommodate the larger screen.
