I stumbled upon an interesting bit from Scotland regarding vapors assisting smokers to quit through
sponsorship or mentoring.
Isnt that what we do here? ( at least in part)
http://www.forbes.com/sites/sallysatel/2015/10/06/how-vapers-can-help-smokers-quit/

Its something many spend a minute with in their spare time- answering a new members ?,
or as stated in the piece, offering some guidance for gear, etc.

I know Im in the majority when I thank ECF, since without the help of the veterans here,
I might still be only cutting back with cig a likes.

The interesting bit midway in the article was the statement regarding the failure of cig-a-likes
in helping smokers wanting to quit.

All the Best,
(mods may wish to move to new members??)
dunno.
Be cool vape on.

I love this article.

Especially this part: The idea is for people who smoke to be exposed to vapers as often and as visibly as possible. The infiltration of vapers into non-smoking environments where there are temporarily abstaining smokers (that is, smokers who are, at the moment, banned from lighting up) is a great way to spur curiosity and conversation about vaping.

More people need to realize this. We really shouldn't 'hide' our vaping.

Thank you for finding this!

Even when vaping where people can smoke works infectious. Ever since I started vaping at work (3 yrs ago) about half of the people dropped the analogues and went electronic. Once there's a critical mass it seems to spread by itself :)
First people look at you oddly but once they see more making the switch, it seems to motivate them to try.

Thank you for reiterating this, especially in our current political environment.
Yes, I hope many more read the article and put it to use.
I also found it interesting that the combined funding sources for the research included $ from Phillip Morris.
Even so, remained unbiased to big T.

Keep Cool vape on, and lets all pledge to help a noob- in what ever framework is practical for each seasoned vaper.
Im including the link again here for those that havnt yet read the (Forbes) pro vape article.
