I made a similar realization about snus in the past few days; I think that anxiety made me totally fail a job interview for a place that I really wanted to work. :-/ My situation is a little more complex, though.

I have found, recently, that Kava does a pretty admirable job at killing anxiety, although there are concerns about the safety in using it for more than a short time. It's been a tremendous help with some pretty crazy anxiety for me -- that and antacids (the feeling of heartburn is similar to anxiety, and can kick up the anxiety to new heights).

well I am starting to feel better, although it did get very intense last night and couldn't sleep. I am now just feeling very emotionally sort of exposed and like a fragile old lady. I don't want to smoke though . I just feel as though a lot of emotional stuff is being flushed out along with the tobacco alkaloids and it is very overwhelming although also very relieving as I feel i am sort of going through a process i need to go through . I never felt like this when i was using snus , I always felt i was trying to repress something by jamming as much of the stuff as i could in my gob , and of course it never worked. The e-cig is defo helping , providing with some breathing space. I think i will be feeling much better in a few days

I hope you feel better swiftly, too. You've been through a lot. Anxiety sucks and withdrawal sucks....Hang in there. Looks like brighter days ahead for you!!!!!!!!! :)
