Best choice for TC Master tester I have seen so far in the thread... [emoji106]

Thanks, Nick... I appreciate the vote of confidence. I do have some experience with TC vape devices, but most of my knowledge base is from working with various RTDs and thermocouples for high temperature rated electronics. I've often wondered about incorporating other temp sensor technology into our vaping devices, but it appears that Vaptio has beaten me to it! ;) :D

Guys, here is the thing I share with you. Vaptio might be a new brand to you guys, but as far as I know, they used to be an OEM manufacturer, they have experience in this area. This beta test contest would be a good opportunity for all vapers to bring suggestion to manufacturer. There would not much vendor like HG to do such a contest. So I personally hope you could join and follow this contest whether you're interested in this device or not. This is one big move good for our vape community. :)
Here's the thing, having a contest for them may result in people that are inexperienced with TC ending up getting them and not having enough experience to offer proper advice..

In the most basic terms, the mod uses the coil as an RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector; these are used in MANY temp reading devices). Certain wires increase in resistance as they are heated. That increase is a known variable by wire type. If you plug in the known variable (the TCR that your mod uses), then you know exactly what temperature your coil is reaching. You can then add in an additional bit to the circuit and firmware to control the temperature by limiting and varying the wattage. The power will fluctuate to maintain the desired temperature. If you'd like to get into this further, feel free to PM me and I'd be more than happy to help you understand more about how this all works. :)

I was lucky enough to win a Vaptio S150 from the Heaven Gifts website contest they were having. I gotta give mad props to Heaven Gifts, I got it in two days, sent on Tuesday and arrived here on Thursday! I just started using it today, once I get a little time to play with it, I will post my impressions and experience with it. Good luck to everyone and a big thanks to Heaven Gifts!!! :thumb:

If you read the first post, they're looking for all levels of TC experience to get a broad spectrum of responses. I do not think this contest is a blind, random draw.

4. To use a TC device, what kind of vape stuff you need, like the material of the wire, the rebuild tools, ohm reader, etc

For wire, I like SS316L, sometimes I'll use SweetSpot Ti wire. I have a coil winder, but I generally use screwdrivers for wrapping. I have an oh meter, but all my devices read resistance.

3. If you are an experienced TC vaper, let us know what TC devices you have; If not, let us know which TC device is in your vape wish list
Evic VT (Broken)
Evic VTC mini (use every Day)
Cloupor Mini+ (Used for a very long time but gave away)
Istick 40w TC (Still use as a backup)
Ego One CT (gave to my wife)
Koopor Plus (use every day)

What devices are in my wish list?

Wouldn't mind getting my hands on a RX200 V2 along with a Velocity V2 (Have the velocity on order from "Slowtech")
