I placed my first order with them Monday night. I have not heard a peep from them about the status of my order. I emailed them this morning to ask, and have not heard anything. Is this normal for them?

When i ordered some juices from them, I didn't hear a peep from them. My order showed up about 5 days after I ordered, so all was ok.
Ironically, about an hour after I posted, they sent me an email with a confirmation. Said it would be Friday or Saturday when I receive it. Really? I guess I'm just used to other suppliers. Oh well. Hope the juice is good, because I won't make the same mistake twice.
I got 5 flavors from them, and none were very tasty right out of the mailing envelope. I'm letting them steep. After 5 days, I tried the chocolate coconut and caramel apple - still not to my tastes. I'll try them in another week or so...
I like their juices, especially the Velvet Vanilla. I think everyone's taste is a bit different with e-juice. *shrug* I've ordered twice so far, and my order has shipped very quickly. I don't really care very much if I get a bunch of e-mails other than the shipping confirmation, as long as it ships quickly. But that's just me. 
I've ordered twice from Velvet Vapors. LOVE the raspberry gingerale!!! I was bored with the 100% VG options offered by other vendors and found the organic option a pleasant surprise as well. Emails and delivery time the same as other vendors - no slower, no faster. Quality product, bottles, flavors and options. Classy labeling and packaging. Key lime pie is great as well . . . Think you'll be pleased with your product. Just remember it is fresh mixed and flavor improves as it ages. Let us know how it works out.
I have ordered twice now from Velvet Vapors, both times I received a confirmation email with my order, and then an email notifying me of shipping. Both orders arrived within a week which is what I plan for with hand mixed juice. First order was 2 sets of samplers, and 2nd order was for ginger ale, raspberry ginger ale and bear claw (my favorites). All were good right out of the box, bear claw will improve as it ages, but is still good enough for me to vape right away. raspberry ginger ale is my all day vape. moderate TH, good vapor (exactly how I like it) at 12 mg with the velvet blend. I will definitely be ordering again!
They are a really heavy flavor juice in my opinion.
Meaning their juice is packed with potent flavors.....and if you don't like that particular flavor, you will really hate it.
If however you DO like that flavor, you will be in heaven!
Shipping seemed normal to me.
