Good advice! Everyone on this site should join and financially support CASAA. It is very sad that so few on ECF support the only group actively working to keep vaping from being banned. Click on the banner in this post to find out how.

Every time I click on a cassa link all I get is the Hahn letter. I don't see a way to join. What am I missing?

....." No stores near me sell any juice or any vape gear for that matter."

@Hanslought ......I hear ya on your concerns, same feeling here. But beg to differ you on the store near you. I live near Roswell, GA and there are 2 stores within 30 min of me, about an hour within your location.

Check these places .......
Cumming, GA , closer to you Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquids & eCig Accessories | Awesome Vapor
Kennesaw,GA Vaperite | Electronic Cigarettes and Vaping Supplies

Both have friendly customer service although I tend to like the juices at Vaperite a little more.

Hi Hansloght, Geez, really? There is not one single chance this can be outlawed, there are too many of us now!! However, get involved , sign up to CASAA immediatly, and vape, vape, vape.. never too much rigs, juice, talk, or forums, get that word out and never, ever, worry about it.. The only thing any person needs to worry about is where will I go when I die and that is the ONLY worry! I personally will go to heaven. but that's another subject. Happy Vaping, see you around on the best site on earth!

really, this is just another form to monopolize the profit that can be gained from e-cig users.. really gov't wants to get a hold of something that is profitable..

Big Corporations exist only to monopolize and maximize profits. Big Oil, Big Tobacco, Big Pharma, Big Banking, etc. run the show. Both domestically and internationally. They do what they want, when they want and where they want.

We are no longer protected, because the very concerns we are supposed to be protected from are actually writing the laws....they are the lobbyists.

There is no free marketplace. You want to regulate drug companies, the medical profession, or Big Tobacco? They are writing the laws! Want banking regulations? The banks themselves are writing the laws, they are the lobbyists.

Those who are separating this into partisan politics, Rep or Dem are very naive. It's the same machine. I see nobody on the horizon who is working for the people, Dem or Repub. They are owned. Big Corporate gives them $$ in campaign contributions and promises them a piece of the pie (i.e., taxes) (and possibly insider trading as well).

If vaping survives it will be at their bequest. If Lorilard can make money you will still be able to vape. Of course, you'll have to buy it from them, or one of the other Big Corporations. As long as Big Corporate gets their $$, and the government right behind them gets their tax money which Big Corporate has already "promised" them, they are all happy.

Anyone separating this into Rep and Dem camps is very naive. It's all the exact same machine. :)

Obviously, they could make liquid nicotine a controlled substance and pretty much shut down the juice. Or require some sort of license that only allows the big companies (big tobacco) access.

That is where my concern is greatest. Lorillard (now owns Blu) just indicated that they believe 1) more regulation is coming 2) consolidation is coming 3) e-cigs distribution is going to be in retail outlets 4) they expect growth and profits.

I can see a time coming where the small independents are forced out and the business handed over to big tobacco and e-cigs will only be available in places you buy cigarettes now and from companies that sell cigarettes now.

This will mean higher prices, less awesome-ness, and more addictive tricks by addiction experts.

How long will a gallon of nic liquid keep in the freezer????

I hear yah! We need to only buy from the small independents, to keep them in business. I wouldnt buy from a big tobacco company. Theyve already taken enough of my money. Im really sick of all the darn
laws taking things away from us. Im a reptile lover and theyve taken away the right to buy or own some snakes because some got loose in FL during a hurricane. Now they want to banish vaping, which isnt dangerous, but keep selling cigarettes which they know is deadly. That just doesnt make any sense!!
I think we have good solid ground to fight with. I also think the reason the tobacco company bought Blu is because they see the wave of the future. People are quitting cigarettes every day, their losing money.
Since they'll never stop selling tobacco, we could find out how to extract nicotine from it. Im already looking into it, just in case. I tried the patch, pills and cold turkey, nothing working until I found vaping.
Im willing to fight til the cows come home!!!

I hear you! I've given the big tobacco companies enough of my hard earned $$$. They won't be getting any more from this vaping lady!

Isn't it amazing that the FDA and others are putting all this energy into trying to ban something that seems to be helping smokers kick or replace the habit but not trying to ban tobacco cigarettes that are known to kill??

I'm an Independent and vote based on positions and not party. But on the issue of vaping, it is no coincidence that the legal drive to ban vaping nationwide by the FDA (backed and pushed by Big Pharm) started in 2009. Those professionals, like Bill Godshall who supports vaping and is in the anti-smoking community, have made it clear from a political standpoint who wants to enact regulations to ban vaping and those who are against banning vaping. He and his peers in this community have much more experience/knowledge than we do on this issue and the political arena. Many issues in the political arena are not clear cut, as politics does make strange "bedfellows" many times. On the issue of vaping, however, the evidence is clear who is for banning it and who supports a harm reduction position. If you are a liberal politician, you want vaping banned, period. If you are a moderate to conservative, you generally support harm reduction and letting people make their own decisions, on this issue.
