Yes I will give it some time :D

I have the r200 box, but I have a vaporx tank with the swivel head
ahh.. ok, like this?
VaporX XLT Classic E-liquid Tank - Cartridges and Accessories

Then you got a very powerful mod for such a small tank... prime as explained, but set your wattage very low (3-4W max I would believe to start with and increase by 1 at a time).

These are similar (If not same as the old Kanger Aerotank ones) and they cannot handle over around 10-12W, so start low and take your take to increase the wattage.

Do not expect a lot of airflow nor lots of vapour from this type of tank/coils, but they are great for a beginner using a mouth to lung approach that most smokers tend to be used to doing (aka sucking a "mouthful" through a tight straw and then inhaling to the lungs or blowing out your mouth or nose right away).

Thank you, I must've messed up the other coil as I didn't really know that wattage could affect it. I must look so stupid aha, I have ordered a more appropriate tank after what you have said. Thank you!
No worries, vaping is no longer a cheap little imitation cigarette like it was at the beginning, it's both a science and an art to it now.

We all started the same with no idea about what was what and we learned (at least some did..:p) about all the various options, and so on.

It's no longer one size fits all, you can fine tune it to a very high level so that you can find what will work for you.

Know that it might seem like a scary learning curve at first, but once you start learning, you'll see that it's actually quite simple.

It's too bad that vape shops are not allowed to give advice. There are some really good devices out there that are much better for the newcomers to start on. Or ask here what is a good one to start on. There are so many these days. I didn't have that option.
Aren't allowed? What do you mean? They can't do that why?

My store gives advice all the time.
Let you sample liquid? no, build coils? no.
Good Advice, priceless .

I'm not from the US so I'm not aware of the legal restrictions. So i just got curious.
Good Advice is probably the best thing a store owner can give to a newbie specially.

That's what I've heard from others, they sometimes go in and offer free advice. Plus they are not allowed to say that this is better for you then smoking. I didn't think samples were allowed either. I don't know for sure because I have always got everything online. Never been to a B&M in the 9 years since I started. But I didn't mean to Highjack vaping Noob's post. Sorry.

Hello imfallen_angel, I bought these online. I honestly had no idea about wattage and stuff so that's probably where I went wrong. I got the r200 box only so I didn't get the tank with it. I would have asked my friends who advised me on getting it but I was afraid of sounding stupid when I got it and was confused. I must have burnt out my coil as it is all still tasting burnt. Thank you for the in depth explanation. I will get another tank and coil etc. The tank I got didn't have the ohm on the box or on the info anywhere
Welcome and glad you joined. Could do a little study of vaping first, then take another run at it.
