I'm here in mid FL and same deal, unavailable. So I went with CVS, they have it but I would call first, it was $5 for 6 oz. Not too bad, as for PG I lucked out when I asked my local compounding walgreens pharmacy, they have like 14 oz for $13 bucks. ANd no questions asked. I was amazed! :)

It's $3 at Walmart for 6 oz. Look on the shelf above the rubbing alcohol products. It's a clear plastic bottle with a white, navy, and red label.

That was right where I went the first time and even asked someone in the pharmacy and they didn't know what it was, went to look there by the alcohol and it was just not there. I think I can just get it at CVS, just be nice to HAVE some, you know?

Yea, I understand. I remember when looking for it at one of the nearby Walmarts, the bottle on the shelf was turned around with the back of the label facing the aisle. I would never have found it, but I think I had already bought it at another Walmart. Anyway, here is a picture of the bottle. My eGo on the left is six inches long, to give you an idea. The bottle is 4.5 inches tall.

I've purchased my VG at Wally World.

While I was there, I got a bunch of... what the hell are they called? The little syringe plunger thing that can measure liquids in small amounts. It's great for measuring out smaller DIY batches. They give you a handful of them for free if you ask.

Walmart also has a little kit for under $2 that contains a 10mL syringe with plunger, a rubber cone (that holds a carto perfectly), and a small measuring cup. There's a picture of it in my blog about flushing/cleaning cartomizers. It's great for flushing out cartomizers and can also be used when mixing juices, if the liquid bottles have a large enough hole at the top, like the Glycerin bottle has.

Another source for VG is at any local craft store that carries cake decorating supplies, look for Wilton's brand VG. I think it's marked as kosher rather than usp, but it goes in cake icing so I wasn't all that worried about it. (I inhaled tar for almost 30 years, what's a little cake icing??? lol) I went through a whole bottle with no problems before I started ordering my VG in bulk online.

To the poster that mentioned allergy symptoms with too much VG; I read somewhere that if you are allergic to coconut or palm kernel products that you might be allergic to VG, since those are the main sources for the production of vegetable glycerin.

WOW Is that COOL! I want! Where in the store is it? The pharmacy area? MAN I hope they have this there, that cone deal looks great! Thanks for posting the pic on your blog, if I knew how to comment I'd have said all this on your blog. Thanks deback! :)

That syringe kit is in the pharmacy section, hanging on a rack with some other products, such as, weekly/daily pill boxes and various small medical supplies, usually about an aisle over from the rubbing alcohol products. The price is about $1.76 for the kit. I believe its intention is for giving liquid medicine to children.

It really does work well to flush all the old juice out of cartos, and then when the water that's squirting out is clear, you plunge it back and forth to remove the excess water.

Awesome deback! Thank you for sharing this with us, I really like the idea of using a medicine syringe for cleaning cartos. And that one you found looks PERFECT! :D

Thanks Big Hitter for the information on the walmart site and the other link too. Now with a URL to the humco I bet they will be able to find it for people like me who's local super walmart doesn't stock it. :D

I found the VG in Walmart and a few other stores with the USP label on it. But in the corner there was a warning: "NOT FOR INTERNAL USE" so I passed on it.

I don't see that warning on the Humco Glycerin sold at Walmart. But vaping a little bit of this Glycerin isn't the same as using it for internal use (as in drinking). This Glycerin has been recommended by many users and is used by many users. I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm sure it's safe to vape.
