Nice Vid Mooby! The 601 really is a little dynamo. I can't really do too much of the direct inhaling either because most of my juice stock is a little too harsh. May not be a problem with some of the lighter juices. I still get very good vapor from mouth draws though, if done slow and steady, then transition to direct inhale. I've got pretty good control over that type of inhaling from years of playing blues harp, something I finally have enough wind for again now that I'm off the analogs. Priming puffs are also essential to getting good flavor out of the pipe.
For other pipe smoking 'harp players out there: The type of draw I use is almost exactly what you do when "double bending" a low note, say 2 draw. Hold that note and grab tons of vapor.

I haven't even touched my Super-minis since I got this pipe. It's that good.

Away..
Nic vid Mooby.
The 601 IMO just cannot be beat for flavor. Pure beast.
Learning to inhale that thing is a delight of flavor and fog.
Shame they are such a high quality product and the manufacturer didnt make the atty user friendly for replacement. The atty is an 801 with a high bridge. After killing my circuit board, I converted mine to a manual. I have a post in the 601 rebuilders thread.
With the high bridge that atty is reallly not hard to replace the coil with a homemade one. On reassembling mine, I made it so the tube can be removed easily for any atty repairs/cleaning it may need.
Its just to nice a unit to become a large paperweight.
