The problem with these wires is that they will vape 4 out of 5 times because VIR will not detected them all the time Dont. And if VIR will not autodetect the wire then it will not give the right power to it and the result will not be what you want as you said. Thats why I dont let VIR vape a wire like this.

so there is no chance for VIR and original Oddy/ Ithaka & Penelope v1/2.....??? thats a little disapointing ;-(
while i can understand why vir does not work with non res- res - non res wire ......i hope proteus is still in play ( but won´t be big enough for oddy/ithaka )

I thought that the auto-detection only came into play when using a new atomizer/wire, and that once detected correctly, it would work on the detected parameters until a new wire was used. Thats why i was excited when You said that nr-r-nr worked most of the time.

An 80% success rate isn't really useable, so if that is the case, i will have to give up on either VIR or my Iatties

If VIR works as I'm thinking, maybe it will work without problem if we use silver wire as NR wire (instead nickel wire)?
Maybe I missed something but I am going to have to know exactly what type of wire to use, what I am saying is Titanium Grade 1 what alloys? or 304 Stainless Steel Wire (What type Exactly) Is it the Medical 304 ? What alloys. Sorry if I missed it but would like to know. Is it ok if we have it Annealed?
Hi guys, that was a good read. Late to this party as usual. I think ESG is the only ones selling Ti wire and last time I checked, they were all sold out.
I found other places that sell Ti wire but their products are not intended for vaping. I would also like to know the specifics when it comes to the types of metals and alloys that are in or used to make the type of wire to be used with VIR.
