there is no burn taste when temperature is at 220 Celsious degrees Fog. And there is no burn taste even when temperature is at 280 Celsious degrees because cotton is wet.

As for VIR, it doesnt let customer make mistakes with new or old atomizers and also doesnt give you burn taste at any Celsious degrees up to 280. And the limit is 280 degrees because more degrees produce acrolein. If a temperature control construction gives you burn taste or goes more than 280 degrees or isnt accurate on temperature, then its not a serious one.

The diagrams are with kayfun Lite, fully assembled and taking puffs in the same way as a regular vaper. Silica wick 3mm, liquid: VG 90%, water 10% (weight/weight ratio. No flavor, no nicotine).

Thank you for your continued work in finding and eliminating any dangers in vaping. Will there be any studies done in terms of different types of wick & wire?
Most problems could arise from wick, wire, juice and temperature, if we determine a safe solution for all of these aspects, then we should be a happy bunch :)

Excellent review on VIR imeo. I finally got a chance to watch the entire video.

280 Celsius is about 536 degrees Fahrenheit. In the U.S. we don't really measure in Celsius.

Questions I have is. Will VIR be compatible with Esterigon that we already have? Will I be able to buy just the VIR chip and housing button separately and use the Esterigon tubes I already own?

Don't know if these questions have already been asked.

Thank you Sad.

280 Celsius degrees / 536 Fahrenheit is the limit for a healthy vaping Sad. More degrees stop the purpose of this electronic module.

And the temperature has to be accurate if we want to talk about a real temperature control device that do its work as it has to do.

The temperature must be reached immediately so the vaping will be steady, otherwise it would be like vaping on a mechanical mod with a temperature limit.

A device like this has to make customer feel totally safe from burned taste and safe from chemicals that are produced from a temperature bigger than 280 Celsius / 536 Fahrenheit degrees.

As for Esterigon, we will be able to take off the mechanical button part and the venting cap too and replace it with the electronic button part and a new venting cap

Thank you for the quick response Imeo. I know that Celsius and Fahrenheit are different measurements. In my mind during the video, I kept thinking 280 degrees Fahrenheit instead of Celsius...but I knew it was more, I just wasn't sure how much more.

536 Fahrenheit I think is more than enough. I will certainly play with the temperature levels and find the sweet spot when I get my hands on the power of VIR. I may dial in lower....especially if it reaches the desired temperature almost instantly as you said.

Funny thing, years ago I set out to find the perfect RBA that would be best for me with the current e cig technology we had at the time. I found the Penelope V1. I never thought my journey into the GG family would be leaps above the rest.

The temperature is reached in about 350 milliseconds Sad. That means that we dont have a delay on this. If we had a delay then we wouldnt be able to vape steady. Thats one more purpose of the temperature control.
As for the maximum temperature, you have to know that all temperatures vape excellent. The differences are how warm your vape is and how your liquid tastes a little different in different temperatures. No burn taste of course and not a bad taste at all at any temperature.

I am really glad that you are on GG train and enjoy the journey Sad. Have a great day buddy :)

Thanks imeo, I really like the way the coils are built, spread apart using VIR. I have always made my coils this way. I tried the other way by closing the wires together and I didn't like it that way.

I also agree that there is no need for a screen. I really like the direction you have gone with VIR and I am looking forward to using it. [emoji4]

thanks again Sad.
As for the screen, it has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that you can see information that you cant see with a mechanical style electronic, like volts, resistance. Things that are not major on vaping. Just think how many times you look on a screen. Only when you want to make your set up and when you want to see the voltage of your battery. But on VIR you dont need to see your resistance because it vapes all resistances. But you can still see the temperature you vape even if its not necessary of course.

The disadvantages are that a screen mod brakes easily, it doesnt give you in real time the info you need and its bigger and/or fatter, things that are major on vaping.

What we really need on vaping to my opinion? Devices that are: Small as possible - Thin as possible - with easily accessed information - devices that dont interrupt the user - powerful - dont allow user to make mistakes - healthy

The way that VIR works (in diagrams) by Dr. Farsalinos
The third one shows how VIR perfectly keeps temperature in 180 celsius as must be in Stage 1.

VIR_5sec.jpg

Isn't in Stage 2 = 180°C (or step 2)?.

First stage is 160°C.

Imeo, why do you hate color-blind people?
Based on my perspective speculation of the VIR video. I think a colorblind person could get by using VIR. All they would have to remember is what kind of wire they are using since VIR does give a color for that. But everything doesn't necessarily have to go by color.

VIR blinks when it needs more liquid on the wick. And if the wick was flooded, I think you would be able to tell by the gurgling....not sure if VIR blinks for that. But VIR has a series of unique blinks (from what I can see from the video), so if you learn the blinks I think you would be able to tell what's happening. And VIR is automatic so it would give you more or less power based on the amount of liquid and the temperature it is set at.

You count the number of light blinks (not the color) to see where the power/temperature is at. And with a few button clicks, you can adjust the temperature up or down.

Again, this is all speculation based on the video. I could be totally wrong about this since nobody owns VIR yet...except imeo. [emoji4]

Imeo, have you thought about making a chip that would also have a screen and usb connection? You could then sell the chip to other manufacturers and/or directly to modders. Basically do what evolve is doing with their DNA chips. I would get a chip from you any day vs evolve and their DNA 40. I think being able to use SS wire or titanium wire is way better than using nickel.

What makes you think a DNA40 can't use titanium or stainless steel?

Thank you EDO:)
The size of VIR makes it suitable with anything. Modders can put it in any device and not only on square constructions because its thin and has a very small length. And I do plan to give VIR to modders. USB is not necessary to modders I think except I am missing something here. As for the screen, I can do that but we are full of electronics with screens right now and many people dont really like screens. I am one of them. Also screen doesnt offer anything on VIR. The only it offers is to make your life more difficult because without a led you have to always check the screen to see why your e-cig doesnt work when it stops because of the temperature or because of the battery, when on VIR you know this info via LED that blinks in front of your eyes. Also VIR doesnt need you to check your resistance via a screen because it auto detect wires, so this info is useless on VIR. And VIR cant brake like a mod with a screen, doesnt get scratched, it accept falls on the floor (by the way mine felt from 3rd floor and nothing happened), and it has the mechanical look that too many people like it.
