Hi GG family,
Any plan to have VIR licensed and sold separetely for mod makers? I know you have strict requirements for the way VIR must be installed, but I guess it's doable if instructions are clear.
I can't express how much I want to see a tiny little box (microstick style) with VIR and penelope v4 !!

yes it will be sold separately monk exactly after proteus sales :)

I really hate them monk lol

Maybe in the future buddy :)

I know you do hate them, you stubborn man ;) ... I used to find them uggly as well! But I changed my mind because some boxes are trully beautiful (taste is subjective though), others feels more ergonomical. I've large hands, and tube mods feels so small in my hand, not uncomfortable, but thin to a point where it seems almost like a waste of space. Boxes fill my hand better, and keep the device shorter than tubes.
Let it grow in you, think of it, look at the great mods that will be made using VIR, then if/when you start loving them, make the best box ;)

it may grow in me buddy but for now its too small in me! lol

What I wanted to make is a real e-cig. What I mean by that is an e-cig thin, short, with the latest technology on it and with all the safety features. Thats Proteus, a real piece of art.

I will make box mod in future for sure but only to make money from it :)

OK, I'll make an official announcement:

in the unlucky - and I hope unlikely - case Imeo will make a box, disgusted, I will stop buying GG! :headbang:

c'mon ... you can more reasonably claim your right not to purchase the GG box ;)
I doubt you will resist because Imeo will only make a box if he likes the idea, consequently it's gonna be a killer device, and you'll purchase 2 of them !!
Not to mention the futur traditional tube mods to come...
Imeo: I'll satisfy ALL vapers out there ;)

I agree with Imeo that boxes are just too ugly and I can't stand them. But I also agree with monkkx that small tubes do not fit well in big hands. The trend for smaller devices is rather frustrating for some of us as the smaller tubes tend to slip out of hand and crash to the floor. I think that a modding solution could solve the problems. If one could construct an enclosure with a 510 connection for a separately-sold VIR, couldn't one simply screw in that module to any fully mechanical box or 26650 tube and solve the big hands problem? Sort of like a kicklet, but far superior of course. Then Imeo would never have to create a box.

Steel, VIR is a very accurate device but it needs serious contacts to work. I dont know how good contacts, springs and threads other mods have.

The only box mods i have looked at are parallel mech mods just get better bat life and they share the voltage drop maybe safer to but a VIR box mod maybe not a box mod hmmm remeber those really expensive solid for cigar
cases that held two cigars (two 18650 bats) and VIR could be smaller then a box mod but really sharp looking! Just a thought.

I use a HUGE box mod as my daily device and I hate how big it is. 2x 18650 batteries plus the big chip and all the wiring is just not good.

I would love to 3D print a box mod for VIR using 2 14500s (serial for 35W or parallel for longer life 25W) with the button on the front of the mod instead of the side.

It would be so tiny!
