So I was wondering if anybody else had this type of thing happen on an ego style battery but I've had my spinner a little more then a month and a half I'd say so its not too old but I can barely get it to go past 60% anymore.

I want to say it could be the charger because while it was one of the 420mah ones I had noticed that it looks like i had some juice that got in there (stupid me for not wiping my stuff down lol). I used to notice that it would charge in about 4-6 hours tops with the battery indicator light on the spinner itself going from orange to off but now it seems like i can could leave it charging about 4hrs+ and Ill get nowhere even close to over 60%. I'd use it for an hour or two maybe and it'd be back below 30%. Im using 1.8 ohm bvc coils on a ce5-s right now if that helps anyone. (it also seemed like my lil backup ego took longer to charge too but this was an emergency so i never really remembered how long it used to take).

I was wondering if anyone has had or heard of this type of thing happening and if it was a problem with the spinner or what it could be? I did just order a new vision charger with my coils so i can see if that makes a difference but its just frustrating because the spinner is the only thing i have right now keeping me off the stink sticks.

those whole charge by 510 connector things were wonky when we used those...sometimes they screw on ok..sometimes it's the cord, sometimes it's the unit..

when you can get one that's a micro usb charger like an istick..much more reliable and they charge super fast in the car (dc to dc)

have you tried a different charger cord?

do you get the blinky lights letting you know it's done?(white, blue? etc)

where are you? in the States? I've got an Innokin vv that I never use and looking for the right person to pay it forward with..that'd probably be you *lol*

I have 3 different 510 chargers and they're all different. As the batteries have aged, one no longer works with any of them, and only one ever worked correctly with the battery it came with or my Spinner clone (which there's a lot of, but if yours charged in less than 10 hours it's not like mine). The other chargers would go to yellow/orange on the Spinner -- I never waited around long enough (5-10 hours) to see if that actually worked. I've heard of many problems with the Spinners and their clones charging, they should come with a charger that is known to work. The good one I use came with the MFS value EVOD ($8) and says on it "CHARGER" rather than "USB CHARGER".

I use the MFS Value pack Evods too. Great deal.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm hoping the vision charger I got with with my coils will work but I'll see about the evod ones if this doesn't come down to it.

Yeah I got the Spinner because I came from a cheap ego setup and I had tried one and it was days beyond what I was used to but after looking online and seeing that it'd probably only have 10 dollars more for something with a micro usb as opposed to this I definitely would've gone that route.

But I've only had the one charger cord to try so far with it to see if thats been the problem or not so I have to wait for my order from Sweet Vapes to find out if a new charger my fix my issues. But it hasn't given me a indicator with a blinking light in awhile since I've gotten it nor has the light turned off on the spinner at all.

And to answer your last question, yes I'm in the states. California to be exact. Let me see first off if I can get my problem fixed with a new charger just to make sure but that would be beyond amazing. :D

I have 4 authentic Vision 1300mah spinners. 2 of them are 2 1/2 years old. The other 2 are about 1 1/2 years old. I use them daily in my rotation. All 4 are still going strong.

All that to say...Mine charge, from all the way down and shutting themselves off, to a full charge in about 3 hours. When first plugged in the light on the spinner should flash several times and then stay lit until the charge is almost complete. The red light on the charger cable should still be on at this point. After a short period of time (I haven't actually timed it but guess about 15-20 minutes) the red light should start kinda flickering between red and green. You can actually remove your spinner from the charger at this point but I always leave mine until the light turns to a full green.

To me the very most important thing to do is always clean your spinner (or any battery) before attaching it to your charging cable. I use a 420mah ego usb charger cable attached to a 500mah wall wart.

I hope your new charger fixes you right up.

Thanks mattiem. And like I said i used to experience much faster charge on this thing then I'm currently getting out of it. One kind of particular thing I did notice is my light will stop flickering and just turn solid green before the actual battery indicator light turns off.

I have managed to drop it on accident a few times too. Anyone thing this could of effected it? Its the one with the gold plating and carbon fiber on it. It could be a clone but I'm not really. My local store did have it on sale at 20 but i only ever saw it for 40 online.

As others have said, it could be one of, or a combination of things. Your charger, the wires, the connectors...I've never used Vision Spinners, I've used Volt and Aspire VV batteries. One thing I found out quickly was to make sure I used the battery until it would no longer fire and then place it on a wall charger instead of using the USB charger. For some reason I got a better charge from the wall charger and it took less time. I'm no electrician, but I think it has something to do with the power source. All this being said, I used the Volt batteries for 1.5 years and they worked great with no problems (I have since PIF'd them and the person that took them tells me they are still working great 6 months later). That's just my :2c:

see if you get it fixed if you don't I've got to go to the post office to get a package off to BW (we're hurricane/tropical storm eminent here so it'll be later in the week when the waters have receeded, I have to go take my parents to get their meds and make sure their generator's running etc) but inbox me your address if you want it. :)

    good luck
