If you are new to vaping, I would suggest the stardust. They don't have the leaking issues of eGo-T/C atomizers. Which is nice. And you don't have to mess around with the difficult filling/overfilling of cartos. That being said, I'm okay with people saying other setups perform better. I just think this is the best for people who want an easy experience.

+1. As a new vaper I found these to be indispensable. They've proved hassle-free and work perfectly for me. Only been a week but no leaks, dry hits, flavour suppression or excessive juice use. I do have the cartos to compare them to and prefer the clearos. I got mine from Smokeless Image who apparently use a version of the Stardusts with a different thread. I'll be buying more.

I was surprised to see your Stardust with an 808 fitting. They were originally designed for the eGo battery with a 510 fitting.

On a side note - did you pull the trigger on the Provari?

I've discovered that I get the burned taste when I pop the stardust onto a newly charged battery...if the battery isn't freshly charged then it's great :)

Sounds like when your battery is fully charged, it is beyond the standard of 3.7v - try measuring the fresh battery with a multimeter to see. Are you using the LR or SR version of the Stardust?

LR on a KGO and I don't have a multimeter :(
Every vaper will need a multimeter from time to time. A cheap $10 one can figure out these little dilemas with ease. A quick google & it confirms your finding. Fresh KGO's come off the charger at 4.1v & drop to 3.7v. This is what's happening. Maybe the SR version might work better for your KGO's and provide a less noticeable flavour difference.

I'm sooooooo close. Keep staring at my full Provape cart but still on the fence a little over the new vmax. I know, I know. I can hear the Provariate screaming in my head :) But I think I'd like to hear a little more about the vmaxx before deciding. I'd say in a week or so more solid info will be available as to vmax pros and cons. That said, I can easily see myself owning both. Have you seen this review?

Whether vmax cuts the mustard with the Provari remains to be seen. In my view however, based on specs and first impressions alone, it simply cannot be disregarded as a significant possible contender.

At my fault, we're derailing this thread. sorry guys. That was the first review I have seen. Thanks for the link. A very positive review, at that. That's great for the vaping community - maybe not so great for Provape. As far as performance they seem to be on par with Provari with some slight differences. Build quality seems to be the best China has offered thus so far. Provape will always have their excellent reputation and a great "warranty". I always wonder if the VMAX goes kaput! in say 6 months - who's gonna fix it? At roughly half the price of a Provari, the VMAX is going to be very tempting to many.

Great info about the clearomizer... I just got mine today in the mail, and thinking about ordering a few more, in case it cracks. But so far great vapor production, great flavor compared to my tank on the ego - c, easy to fill with needle.. Now just have to remember not to put cinnamon flavors in it, and watch the citric acid flavors(which would be considered???)

Yep! The Stardust at regular resistance - 3ohmn, or anything else you want to try at a min of 2.8ohm and you should avoid the burnt tastes.

Have people been getting burnt hits with these? I've been using the low res version for a week now on a regular ego batt and I have not had one burnt hit. I was expecting to get burnt/dry hits with these, but I like them so much I ordered 10 more. It's a nice change from my Lavatube/Boge setup. The vapor production on these is impressive. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna start using the stardust to convert smokers. It's simple and it works!

Yeah, people have been getting burnt hits. Me included. :( Didn't matter if I used version 1 or 2, PG base or VG base, chain vape or small hits - every one I had cracked, needed to be tipped every 3 seconds and still gave burnt hits. The only thing I can say is that they don't leak at least (except where they cracked, but I don't think that that counts).

one more thing I like is they never get hot like extremevizions or any other of a similar type I own.

Funny you said that!!!!!!!!! I 100% agree. I have used one other similar clearomizer before the vision. It was a Tankomizer for my Tornado-T and they were impossible to vape from. I would cough and all the juices tasted the same in a bad way! Try vaping 2-3 times in a row and it made you gag! I thought something was wrong with it and ordered a 2nd one in a different color, same problem.

I was a bit scared to order the vision clearomizer, but the purple color got me!! So I gave it a try and I am in LOVE!!!! I ordered 3 more yesterday in different colors. Juice tastes the same as in my regular tanks and they don't get hot. I do get a bit of juice in my mouth every now and then. I just stick a piece of paper towel in the mouth piece and wipe it out. No big deal. :) I just love them. I don't think I will ever use anything else!!!!

As a matter of fact I love them so much I think I will give one to my friend and get her hooked as well!

I have the LR's too and no problems with burnt hits. I had 1-2 burnt hits on day 2 of using it but that was because I did not notice the wicks were on top and had the e-cig standing upright. When I went back to the vendors website it was added on the bottom of the description that you have to tilt them every so often. I use 20VG/80PG juice.
