errol, what are you waiting for , im a little busy and dont remember what that was about.

Have no idea, that is why I was asking (Twice) in reference to the comments from "dannoman" that I provided. Guess it doesn't matter as whatever "you won't be able to miss it." I missed, or it never showed up. :)

I think they were talking about the change to shipping from ny to tx, and the alpha program.

I noticed that when I first started it with a low battery but it was fine with fully charged batteries, and it only seemed to affect the hit counter/battery level screen, and havn't noticed it since so not a huge issue.

Yup it only does it when the battery is low, and only on the one screen, doesn't affect performance, I'm very happy with the improvements.

I got a Vision TOX the other day and I've been using the 18350 Battery tube since I got it. Last night I figure I'll try the longer tube and I notice that the 18500 tube fit's very lose and has a lot of wobble, to the point of almost falling off when on. Also when changing bat, date still does not save. Other wise I'm very happy with it. On a dual coil tank meter only read as high as 3.5v on 4v to 6v under load. But works fine on a 3ohm boge carto under load. So I'm guessing it still have a 2.5 amp limiter on it. All in all seems to be very well made.

My tox shutsdown after 4 to 5 seconds. Is this normal. I put a meter on it, and it fires for 4 to 5 seconds then go to 0. Same with full charged bat. Does it every time. I think I can maybe fix the tube tho. Fires every time but only for 4 to 5 seconds. Maybe some kind of safety feature. I could live with a longer hit. Got to go get cat from vet. I'll check back later.

If you are taking your drags closely in succession, it may be reading it as the 5 click shutoff. I was po'd and chain vaping and it took me a bit to figure it out.

The 5 second shutoff seems to be the norm though.

It may be the norm but is not long enough if you take a multi drag.{one or two quick drags to get the juice flowing again} And as for the shutoff,Ive had it happen after the device sits for five or ten minutes. pick it up hit the button and it shuts off. There is a reason the cutoff is to be 10seconds. 1. Because it give you time to get the drag you need. 2. It shuts off after 10 seconds so you don't damage your components. This has happened with all the tubes I have so I don't think it is a connection issue,at least from the battery tube.I know Chris tried hard to get these right for us but I don't think we got there.

the tox metal heads are fine, its that they dont match perfectly with the older tunbes as new tubes where made just for them.

if you unscrew it and screw it back, keep doing this, it will eventauly click in perfectly. i had the same issue, then placed it on a different tube and been using them since with no issue.

Well how come everyone I know that has them has the same 4-5 second cutoff issue? And why does mine just shut off for no reason.I'm not a newb to this .I have built mods and understand the basics of this hobby pretty well.
And yes obviously when it shut off the first thing to come to mind is "did I fire this 5 times in row too quickly and that's why it shut down" and the answer is no.
The new tube you sent me clicks in perfectly and it does it with that one as well.

we sent out 75 new heads
you, lord and about 4 people here have that issue
so not sure about everyone or else we would of been flooded with tickets
and as i said anyone who said they had a issue and sent the head in, i put in a newer tube and have been using them with no issues at all.

the factory even told me days ago that the original tubes might give a issue, becuase the contact might dislodge on its own even while on the tube and the slightest pressure send it to reset
but that can be adjusted i just need to see what needs to adjusted, maybe sanding of the tube on top or something else, ill check that out later.

Ok thanks Chris. I feel better knowing your looking for a fix.I dont mind working with it if it will solve the problem.
In fact right now I'm working the head on and off the tubes to try and get them to seat better.
I also have been wondering about sanding or dremeling maybe the tabs on the head or something. But don't want to ruin it if I am wrong. I will wait till you get more info.
