I rebuild my coil and it's super cheap. A multi meter is a must for rebuilding. With tight supplies, this is the best option. For those who does not want to spend more dollars by buying a torch, u can use your kitchen gas cooker to oxidise the wire mesh. So far VV Nova is the best for me as it can last me about 2 days without topping up and the the Vapour production is damn f--king awesome!

Actually there are windproof lighters sold for about a dollar which works almost the same way as a torch!
Also, for people getting a multimeter just to test out the coils, u may want to get them from eBay at a cheap price

Seriously bro? I've got 2 Vivi Nova V3s and after using them for 2 weeks, I just gave up..
I kept getting a burning chao tar taste and they both kept leaking! Not only into the batt, but also into the driptip and even when it's unscrewed, it leaks juice through the bottom. My drawer has a brown patch at the corner now cause of the vivid sia..
Damn pek cek..

I'm really happy with the Stardusts though. Those babies are damn pocket friendly and I haven't had a really bad leaking prob with them yet...

I got no problem with VV. Maybe yours got a bad rubber seal. Don't just put it aside. The cheapest way to rectify it is by using the teflon pipe sealing tape. Lots of people tend to over tighten it and compress the white rubber seal.

don't over - 1) tighten, 2) fill, it should be fine.. super happy with my vv nova now.. waiting for more juices to come and explore!

Hey bro! If I'm not wrong you didn't wet the wick the part where the resistance wire coils around. For me whenever I use new heads I will drop some juice into the middle hole where the heating takes place in order to wet that part so that the side wicks will be able to transfer juice in and also rmb to put your pv upside down cause the wick won't transfer the juice into the coils so just turn your pv upside down for awhile before you cape :) I have 2 nova v3s both working likea charm

is it me or the vivi nova 1.8ohm makes my juice taste like #%^*+-@/!,&;"

Try using Basic mods like the eGos and so on cause 1.8ohms dont work really nice on APVs and they tense to burn the 1.8ohm heads real quick. Both of my 1.8ohms heads was burned after i few vapes and have gave up on using 1.8ohms heads :)

Erm i rewick myself :) but one wick can survive for quite long! My 2.4ohms heads have survived for 2-3weeks already :) As long as when you feed the wick and dont taste any burned taste after feeding, its still working fine :) The wick will tell u when to change it :)

RMB to upside down before you vape or whenever you taste a little burn taste do a upside down and continue vaping! But when you do the upside down you still taste burn taste, ITS TIME! To change your heads or wicks :)

Just change the coil head. The one with the wick. You can unscrew it. I generally boil them in water for about 5 mins. Helps to remove the gunk stuck on the coil. I rotate my coil heads every 3 or 4 days.

Don't boil the silicon cap head. just wash them in warm water.

search youtube on how to clean

PS : i am puzzled tho. You bought the vivi nova and you should have all together 3 coil heads ; 1.8 , 2.4 and 2.8 . So how come you don't know about changing heads

nono.. i know how to change the heads.. and i have tried with the 1.8 ohm head and didn't really like it... and it seems like there is some additional maintenance to be done other than just washing it, which i done twice already... ;) don't worry, i know what to do with the heads..
