I see. Maybe the quickest way is to recoil the coil each time u wash. If u have the kanthal wire. Cos I think the wick is not the problem, is jus the coil clogging up the gunts. Shld be faster to recoil. Hehe.

Err.. I think the easiest way is to dry burn it everytime you wash.. Don't think got ppl keep recoiling.. Cause a good coil you rebuild can usually last for a week or more..

Just my 2cents..

When I first started using, i very goot lat and recoil everytime i wash my tank after 2-3 cycles. Now after 2-3 cycles I'll just wash then dry burn and remove the crust formed around the coil and use again. Works just as well.

Would you care to share the best method for removing the gunk on the coil?

Normally you'd dry burn a few times till it glows red, repeat a few times and you'll see the gunk turn to crust. What youtube shows is to rinse it again to wash this out and dry burn again.

For me, I have a pressurized air blower and just blast the gunk out.

no wonder.. i tried with the 1.8ohm head didnt really work out well for me too... reverted to the 2.4ohm and enjoying it... do they sell 3 x 2.4ohm heads?? ahahahaha...

I never really like 1.8ohm...gives out lesser vapour for me and burns the coil faster...ill prefer either 2.4 or 2.8 ohm..

Well I just tried boiling the coil like what kumkum said, hope it works well for me :D

well, i tried the dry burn method.. the burnt taste came.. like plastic.. i checked the rubber coils etc.. nothing seems damaged.. trying to wash it again.. how do u know that the gunk is gone.. the coil looks cleaner than earlier.. but the burnt taste really sucks..

Yep I guess you've gotta boil it for a few mins first
