I have to vote for vivi. I ave used it exclusively for 6 months or so. I got a protank a couple of weeks ago and it floods ALL the time. I like the airy draw on a new vivi head, so i loved the provape airy draw. I just can't stand the grgling and spitting juice in my mouth.

I am open to suggestions on how to correct the flooding of the protank if antbody has any.

Vivi nova , no question. Protank has too many issues, the worst of which is the draw which give no resistance to pull a decent hit and the metallic taste that overpowers the juice. Theres 6 or 7 other problems with it but those are the deal breakers. Vivi novas Ive gotten dont have any of the protanks issues Id never buy another protank. And theyre three times as much.

Personally I have both and have tried both extensively - The ProTank wins hands down for me. I have Vivi's that have been used and Vivi's that are still boxed and will never be unboxed. The juice tends to get very dark and thick in the Vivi's and for me I don't like pouring juice down the drain - in the ProTank I can vape down to where I can't even see juice in the tank and it doesn't turn dark and thick.

My personal opinion - but my vote goes to the ProTank.

Same here. My juice gets really dark, really quick with my vivi nova. My 1st protank should be here Friday. Will reconoiter and report.

Sent from my recliner, using my arthritic thumbs.

All this talk about the BCC tanks having a cool vape scared me off from trying them for far too long. They do not have a cool vape. Tanks with top coils have an abnormally warm vape. BCC tanks have normal warmth comparable to cartomizers and atomizers. I think people got used to the very warm vape of top coil tanks so anything else seems cool to them. I've used a clearomizer with a cool vape -- it was disgusting. The vape from a BCC tank is noticeably warmer than room temperature. It is also noticeably warmer than the temperature of your mouth.

I think they're both about the same re performance. That said, Vivi Nova's better since the tank is not glass (and thus less prone to breakage); Protank 2 (with pyrex [glass] tank) is better for juices that degrade plastic (or "polycarbonate"). Pyrex Vivi Novas are available but I don't recommend (I've tried several) -- lots of leakage problems and they're big and bulky and it's difficult to observe the juice content, since they're shrouded in metal with peepholes (unlike the Protanks). Prefer the draw of the Vivi Nova.

I just moved up to an eVic from an ego-style battery and I've been looking into tanks. My kit came with a Vivi Nova but, like others have mentioned, the draw is just super tight. The airflow is just not what I prefer.

I'll be trying the Protank 2 next, since it sounds more along the lines of what I like. I don't mind the slightly "cooler" vape associated with a bottom coil design. In fact, I may even like it more.

I have the regular Vivi Nova, the pyrex Vivi Nova, the Protank 1, and the Protank 2. Both Novas perform similar and both Protanks perform similar (sliiightly less airy draw on the PT2, but that's about it). I can say with absolute certainty that the stock Nova heads actually work, while the stock Protank heads will (more times than not) drive you insane. Even if you rebuild the heads for the Protank, it's astounding how one is amazing and the next, seemingly identical, is just plain bad.

I vote the Nova. It's my tank of choice these days.
