I think Phoenix nailed it and several of you added very good points as well and I 100% agree.

The one thing that I, and I assume others, have been guilty of is just referring to our favorite device as "Vapor King". We should explain that it is a KR808D-1, or at least a variation of it.

After all, we don't need to be adding to the massive confusion of a new user. I was one and I remember how hard it was to keep it all straight. I tried the E9 and hated it. After that, anything that said "cartomizer" was an immediate turn-off.

I'm happy with V4L. ESPECIALLY the customer service. I've not been on the other forums talking about V4L, but if I want to, I will, unless someone gags me with deletions. Why does it irk people so much to see happy customers? None of us get paid to promote V4L, but I've gotten 2 other people off analogs in the past couple of weeks that don't even post here by referring them to the site. They also love the service and the product. Not to mention these are special people to me and I want them to live a long and happy life, I was proud to be able to send them to a website where I KNEW they would be well taken care of.

I've tried a mod, but I didn't recommend that to them because I didn't think they would use it, too much trouble with juice, tweezers, atomizers, extra batteries and in general, clumsy to use on the road when driving. I had tried V4L, I know they are reliable, trustworthy and the product works. I don't even know or care what a 510 is, all I know is I found what works and a company I love and I won't be changing anytime soon. That is not to say that my wallet is chained completely to V4L, I still try and order juice from other places and will continue to do that.

I see a lot of sour grapes lately, V4L must be kicking some serious .... in the supplier's world.

Word of mouth advertising is here to stay.

I also typically add the model designation number as well and I do think this helps folks make the connections. It can get cumbersome though so I only use VK/KR808D-1, rather than VK/KR808D-1/Nebula/E9/Long Totem...:D

To be fair, I am not even completely sure that I have all those names right myself. I think it will be most helpful when the mods put up the forum for this model since they usually put the common names on those forums.

I don't have a problem with Vapor4Life, I do think the cheerleading is a bit annoying, but I just don't bother to respond to it. But, I think all the rebadging of models is why new users are so confused. I know I was.

This is exactly the problem. In a previous thread, started by a non VK user, that person had a link to another sub-forum to show what a cartomizer looked like. That was, at the time, a fairly new post. The photos were fantastic. In fact, they were so good (I didn't respond at the time due to the nature of where that thread was going), I could clearly see that the cartomizer in those photos was NOT the same construction as ones I recently received from V4L.

All the people claiming that there are no difference between KR808*** products need to do their own testing and filed striping. I have, as have others in this sub-forum. The idea that the V4L products are simply rebadged (some other product with the V4L logo), is a farce at best.

Now, does V4L have some sort of exckusive, I'm certain the answer is no. But when Steve gets the factory to make changes does it make the product better and different, I say yes, at least for the time being.

Not all KR808D-1 PVs are the same.

While I am not a Vk user I fully support the use of any PV that they like.

While people are entitled to thier preferences, debating a personal choice like this is about the same as saying one ice cream flavor is superior to another.

It's simply a matter of opinion/preference and should be left at that.

( yes, a 1.2 gigawat pv can produce enough vapor to close an airport, but other than that, what is it REALLY good for?!)

I generally only post here or, lately, in the Womens Room so had no idea that there was so much commotion going on in the General Discussion/Newbies forum! That said, I agree with everything that Phoenix and so many others have already said. When I was first looking for info and read everything I could in those forums trying to make an informed decision, I wish to heck that someone had been talking about the VK back then! It would have saved me money that I really didn't have to throw to the wind on three other models while looking for what I really wanted - which is everything the VK is. Ease of use, great product, absolutely amazing customer service and a supplier forum like this one full of caring, informative, funny and downright crazy people that make you feel welcome. In my books, it just doesn't get any better than that.

At this point, I am just not going to respond.

And that was only one PM that I posted. I recieved others.

I assume that based on whats being said, the person is another retailer under another account, or someone who is just at odds with Steve and wants to cause some trouble.

Either way, it doesn't really involve me I guess.

Allow me, with your response. I'm happy to say to your face what I have posted here about my objection to V4L's promotion. It seems to be you that has taken it to the low level of implying you are going attack me for doing so.... I have nothing agaist this Steve guy, nor do I sell a product, I do have something agaists twits that jump into a converstation when not adress thowing personal insults at me, when I have only made a comment about a product and how it was promoted.

Re: looser
Just another small man with a big internet mouth.

I've met tons of people like you in my time, although never face to face...which explains a lot.

Take Care.

The only implication of violence I see here is coming from you. He's not the slightest bit insulting to you, and yet you jump right up with the "let's meet in person" response.

You sir, are the definition of a troll.
