Like cardsfan300, I too am enjoying my two Vladdin Pods. And I agree they don't hit very hard (about 9 watts), but they still vape very well anyway. And I noticed the pods has two plungers to prevent leaks and condensation. That is very nice. And the voltage output is a regulated 3.5v. I love the magnetic pod lock too.

I have six pods in total and two are still sealed. Although one of them in use, doesn't always make electrical connection. I ohmed it and it always ohms and it looks identical to the other pods, so I don't know what is up with it. Taking the pod out and tapping it on something fixes it for awhile. :) I have no idea how long the pods will last yet. Only one has been refilled twice. I also noticed with my 70VG juices, the first day you have to be careful not to chain vape. After that, it seems to keep up just fine and even after refilling. Can't say that about MyBlu pods.

I have a Minifit and the Rock coming in by snail mail. Depending on how they perform, I might order two more
Vladdin devices. As I have been very impressed by them so far. :)

I also mentioned that I carry a Juul around with a Breeze2 to back each other up, just because they're so portable. Though at home I stick with heavier more costly RTAs. But, I've never thought the Juul juices were very good, so looking at refillables with whatever I want to put in them.

I appreciate it NY. When I started vaping four years ago, I got a gas station cigalike. Then eGo and CE4 tanks. Those CE4 tastes like plastic. Moved on to bigger and better until I'm generally using squonkers today. I wasn't even interested in pods at all, since I figured it would be very much like the eGo/CE4 devices. But that MyBlu for a buck, I decided to try one.

And they are nothing like those eGo/CE4 days. No plastic taste whatsoever, better regulation, better wicking, etc. And I never liked that 510 connection (which was invented by Joyetech anyway). And I think the 510 is horrible for larger tanks and RDAs too. And pod systems like the Vladdin is far better way to connect to a coil IMHO. :)

@dansus--from your earlier question, I did throw away the newer myjet pods from myvapors directly. From what I remember, inside, the silicone piece was bigger with more ridges on the bottom to make it harder to take the bottom off without the whole pod falling a part, even with shaving off the tabs. Also, the metal chimney inside was longer and a different shape if I remember right. I was going to save the parts from the inside of the earlier version pods to just use in the new pod itself, but with the chimney a different size, the old silicone piece etc would not fit correctly in the new pods. So, you can tell they did their best on purpose to make the pod a 1 fill only. In today's environment with pods, not the best of ideas in my mind. I loved the myjet, to this day it is the perfect draw for me, but time to move on since I am not into rebuilding etc. I think the Vladdin is my go to device just because of the draw is tighter than the minifit. I just hope the ceramic coils are just as safe. Anyway, I hope i explained it somewhat to where you know what I am trying to say. I really wish wisemec/myvapors would come out with a myjet 2 meant to be refilled, I would be all over it once again.

Yup, similar time period for me and similar evolution.
Yup on 510's. The Provari P3 or Zen's Z2 are better connections, but too bad they're gone.
I'll let you all know how I find the Vladdin. Pod mods are just so easy to carry around. The Breeze 2 is good, but a bit stubby, but the best so far for me [even without trying salts in it]. The Juul's flavors aren't enjoyable. The MyJet is a pain to refill. Myle is decent, but I want to refill with my own liquids.

Wow! So soon? I haven't even had 12 hours with the Minifit yet. Well from the get-go, the Minifit is a very warm vape and the Vladdin is a cooler vape. Actually the coolest out of all of the pods I have tried so far. But not in a bad way. It is still very good. And the Vladdin is very consistent. From full charge to the last 2 puffs before empty.

My Minifit isn't consistent. It is warmer when fully charged and way weaker near empty. Yes I know it is said to be regulated at 3.4v (Vladdin is set at 3.5v). Minifit pods are easier to fill and work with except for the Vladdin's magnetic lock (I love this). The Vladdin takes longer for a dry pod to soak in the eliquid. But it has like 5mm of cotton and then the ceramic wick to soak through. But once soaked, nothing stops it. Chain vape all you want and it is still consistent. The Minifit just gets hotter and drier, like most everything else.

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but which has the tighter draw - the minifit or the vladdin?
Chain vape all you want and it is still consistent.
Interest piqued.
The Minifit just gets hotter and drier, like most everything else.
And this I agree with. (Especially with one hole blocked).
Thanks.

I'm thinking about picking up a Vladdin, but I've not used a draw activated vape.

How responsive is it? Do you have to, uhm, pull hard?

Hmm... I never tested how light you could pull. As I pull hard. Let's see. Wow! Just the slightest pull activates it. Pretty instant too. :)

Ok BillW50, now you are making me think I need a Vladdin!

So, mine arrived and I'll share my thoughts.
I agree with most of what was said by Daniel. Nice pod mod. I like the ergonomics and the way the mouthpiece feels.
I'm at the moment comparing it to a Provari P3 with a Kabuki tank with a 1.8Ω coil at 9 watts, both with unflavored 12mg 50/50.
I'm amazed how tight the draw is on the Vlad. I keep wanting to check to see if perhaps there was something I was supposed to remove from it. Is there?
That's not meant as a criticism, just an observation.
Nice flavor, but of course it's unflavored LOL.
Just compared it to the Myle, and I think the Myle is a bit nicer (for me) draw and vapor "feel". BUT, the Myle juice is high nic salt vs the usual juice in the Vlad.
And of course, the Myle isn't intended as a refillable. So one point for each.
I'm looking forward to trying a high nic salt in the Vlad and see how that feels.
But, overall the Vlad is a keeper. Many pods ain't.

I don't have the Vladdin and I'm just speculating... do I remember correctly that Daniel said it had a silicone cover over the air intake?

There's a silicone cover on the Suorin Drop and I think that contributes to the tight pull on that device. The pull has more resistance at the beginning and then the resistance drops off as the cover opens.

Do you think that might also contribute to the tight pull on the Vladdin?

For about 2 seconds I was wondering what you were talking about. Ah that silicone plunger blocking the air hole on the bottom of the pod. Yes I suppose that helps in the tightness. But by judging the size of the air hole (looks like 1.5-2.0mm to me), the draw is about right for that size air hole anyway.

I got the impression from Daniel's video that it is a one way valve. Let's air in, but blocks it going out (and juice too). But I have taken one to a mirror and I blew in and out and I don't even see it move.

On the Suorin Ishare and Drop it's just a slit cut into a silicone sheet. On the Ishare, it's a semi circle slit. On the Drop, it's a rectangular slit. It looks like a door and you can push the covers open using a needle or forceps. I've taken the pods apart to look. On the Drop, it sometimes gets gummed up with eliquid, causing it to be hard to draw. After a clean up, it becomes easier to draw. That's what led me to believe that it affects the draw. I don't have a Vladdin so I don't know if it is the same. Just speculating.
