Vmax or lavatube???

I need some opinions! I will buy one of these a the end of the month. The price difference is significant. I saw that I can get the whole lavatube kit for abou $100. The vmax kit seems to cost approximately $80-$100 more. Is there anything else I should consider? I do also really like the lavatube in chrome. Can anyone say lightsaber?

why dont you buy the Provari V2 in chrome then?
i got the lavatube and my personal opinion is that is doesnt work that well with dual coil cartomisers

Not sure where you are looking at the vmaxs from a couple vendors and I see them under $100, if the place you are getting it from it tacking on an extra $100 for a couple batteries and a charger I would look elsewhere. Between the two products you suggested, the lavatube would be my pick. If you have the budget to drop $200, I would, as Domonick007 suggested, go Provari and you could get some accessories and still be below the $200 mark.

I was looking at one of my local shops, dfwvapor. The kit is $172. I figured that if the consensus was that the lavatube performs well, that would be the one I purchase since it is cheaper and I could then get some other accessories for it.

My suggestion would be the SS Vmax from Crystal Clear Vaping with the polished Aluminum 6ml tank and the 15 carto deal on Smoktech 2.0 ohm dual cartomizers. Free shipping ,great price , great service, comes with 2 batteries but you probably will want 2 more and will need a charger that will accept 18350's. About $150 without extra batteries and charger which would be about another $20-25. You should be happy with a Vmax but if you got the cash Provari is an ecellent choice also considering it can be serviced here in US

Lavatube - I've had 2 runs of them. Not impressed with either one.

VMax - Runs hand-in-hand with the ProVari in terms of performance. Will also run a dual coil cartomizer or atomizer where-as the ProVari will give you an error code at higher voltages.

ProVari - American made. Will run a dual coil but not at the higher voltages that the VMax can do with one. Easier to get warranty work on. Heavier, better constructed, and higher priced than the VMax.

The new provaris are 3.5 amp you can run dc cartos all the way to the top voltage.

I agree with dwcraig1 . i was looking at a lava tube and when i started resurching the Vmax i was sold. I love mine . And yes CCV has the best price and very fast shipping

I have both and, IMO, I consider the VMax the superior unit, although both are in my daily rotation...

You can get a VTube (Lavatube) kit from Apollo for around $54.00 so if you are on a budget it might be the better option.

Dont have a Vmax so I cant really comment on it.

LT V2 is up here, Can push 3 -3.2 amps from my understanding so DC isnt an issue on these. Full on kit, 2 batts, tube, charger and some cartoz for under $100

Putting all of the marketing hype off to the side for a moment, there is one major difference between the two.
The Vmax is regulated voltage (two batteries in a tube) and the LT (Vtube) is boosted voltage (one battery in a tube)

As for which one is best, I would guess that the one you like is best. They both work.

Apollo Vtube with the 30% off is a good deal. I have the chrome version with a vivi nova 2.5 tank from madvapes and I have not had a problem with this setup.
Personal preference is where it will be different for everyone.

Got my SS Vmax from CCV 3 days ago and couldn't be more pleased. Using a 2.5 vivi nova tank. Can only compare to the 808 that I first bought which is anemic in comparison to the Vmax. First hit and all I could think was "WOW! Now this is vaping!" Good luck with your purchase.

I don't like stacking batteries, for a lot of reasons. To say stacking is risky would be incorrect but does stacking batteries increase the risk, yes.

Personally I'd go with the unstacked mod.

I would wait for the new Lavatube. I got a chance to try it at Vapestock and it just blows away the current Lavatube. I talked to the owner of Volcano last week and he said they should hopefully have them by the end of the month. If you need something to use until then just buy an eGo Twist battery. You can get one for like 25 bucks.
