Gill's para just before the CA finish is applied, love the shape of these in-hand. The wood is from Aarcoleo's block (not sure of species), and is one of the nicest yet in terms of workability and has beautiful figure.

Would look great as a contrast layer but a bit disjointed as the main wood in the caps...would over power the nice burl...

That would be Amboyna burl, and looks awesome with those caps.
