I got my VR today! I love, love, love it! No lighting for pics right now, but I will endeavor to obtain them at the first sunlight opportunity. This thing begs to be shown off in the sun!

Thank you, Vaughan. The engraving was a pleasant discovery :)

Can't wait to see pics peng, I had a similar wonderful engraved surprise on one of mine, I looked at the block you used many times... I'm glad to see it turn into a kiwi mod

They put a green block up about once a month. You could have one, too :)

Nice, glad it arrived ok Peng. Been very slow on here for a few days, and it's been quite nice to not be watching all the time!

I have Gills mod getting a final polish for pics in the next hours, and a totara burr single promised to friend some months ago ready for finish too, so will be good to have my obligation met.

I do have an asymmetric guiney that I was planning some months ago underway as a xmas project between family events and kids things so I can throw that out there as well.

Other DT orders and 510 upgrades that have been begging to be done are getting sorted too, so most of the 2015 jobs are all but done, so that I can have a clean slate to concentrate on working through the next mods. It sometimes seems the bits n bobs take up time and head space so great to get those all sorted!

GillTheGrunt's mod ready to go.

A small upgrade on this one that will be standard on all paras and tripps, the sterling silver bridge is now magnet free, with battery contacts pressed into the silver, and held against the battery tops by silicon tube with delrin inserts in the top giving positive pressure down when the top cap is in position. This way it is easier to remove from the top of the mod, and the silicon parts can be easily replaced if necessary.

Top and bottom caps. Been a while since I have put up pics of the internals with the new 510 and switch leaf upgrade.
