You know you can never have too many sqounkers.

LOL you are right whip [emoji6] Between TMods, an Avion and an assortment of REOs the count is getting up there. This Kiwi is such a pretty and functional mod. I keep coming back to this thread. From what I see, they are works of art.

Robbie, can I ask what kind of wood this beauty is? Not that I need another squonker, but I'm about to talk myself into one of these [emoji6]

Vkiwi, what type of woods are available? And how far out are you with orders? I have also been eyeballing that Ebonized oak/copper inlay [emoji4]

......and really, really liking the Red Beech Burr!

The light coloured one is spalted beech and the darker one I believe is a red burr, Vaughan may correct me but believe that right.

Momma bird trust your instincts, these mods are first class, today four new attys arrived, the stumpy which is amazing now sits on my spalted beech, the two combine an amazing full flavour vape

My obsession keeps growing, I've two VRwood Mods, and seven other squonkers and I only quit smoking last November [emoji16] Vaughan is also commissioning my VR number three which is sure by the sounds of things is going to be a stunner!

Thanks robbie [emoji4] thats a beautiful mod you have there. I think that I have decided that I want one done in the Red Beech Burr if he still has some of that wood. The description says there are flecks of copper in it I believe. I have another Stumpy that came today. Would be stellar on this. The Stumpy is an awesome little atty. I have one atop my 26650 TMod which is my workhorse [emoji6]

The stumpy is awesome, one of my favourites. The sintered copper inserts is used if gaps, holes, etc appear in the wood, can be filled in copper, bone or carbon I think. Vaughan is constantly looking to evolve his design, this is what keeps me gripped!

mommabird62 here is my red beech burr that is sintered with copper. I'm in love.

Likey! [emoji2] its beautiful BS!

I also saw that dark oak with the copper that he is doing. Would love to see what that looks like milled into a mod.

Is the maintenance and upkeep on these mods pretty straight forward? From what I can see, they look it.

I'm going to have to get on a list, but this has to be discussed...and I'll have to get two...:/Tough times...lol!

I didn't think I would be able to consider one, without keeping it a secret...I don't know if I could keep my mouth shut before people had seen it before though.:)

Very, very good work, and I'll be happy to support you!

How many people have messaged you about using a chip in your mods?lol

I'm digging the triple cell mod, really everything, so clean , and I think I have to get one in the oak you just posted..

I guess I'll be back in a month to proclaim my place among the list..s;)

I'm with you on wanting to see how the dark oak & copper turns out.

Very little maintainence. The top contact is now made out of non tarnishing silver. It can be cleaned with alcohol or whatever else you use to clean contact points. I put a little No-ox on that contact when I clean it. The copper top and bottom plate can be cleaned with Brasso, probably once a month. I haven't had mine long enough to do that yet. That's about it. No moving parts and nothing really to watch or worry about. Pretty carefree.

Sounds right up my ally bluesnake [emoji4] All of my current squonkers are mechs and pretty much the same type of maintenance. Keep em clean and the contacts maintained and they stay in a "happy place".

All of the timbers you have seen are still available, and I'm trying to source another two species that are quite different to anything else, but seem very hard to obtain. More on these when I have them in hand. Busy working on a single, a parallel and a tripp all at the same time today, all in different stages so lots of variation!

I was asked about the bone caps, so here are a couple of pics of the finished piece..
