Hey guys,
I have a question....I just received my VV box mod w/display from Madvapes, I got also a 2.5 dual carto as a replacement for my 3.5 tank (for some reason the original 1.6 dual carto tasted burnt from the beginning). What is the voltage I have to use with this setup ??? I ask you before to put the 2.5 in my tank....Thanks. :vapor:

PS. using it now at 5.5v....great....thx.

I use 2.5 dc at 5.5 volts at all times.

I just got batteries for my MadVapes VV Box mod with display a couple of hours ago.

I also have a dual coil on it, 2.5 ohm, I believe. I've set my VV to 5.4, and it's working great!

Keep in mind, much of it is personal preference. Also, thicker juice might require a higher voltage. The great thing about having a variable volt device is, you can play around lowering and raising the voltage, until you find the perfect setting!

Keep in mind, different juice will taste better at different settings!

Great device, so far! (All of about two hours, but wow does it put out some plumes of vapor)!

Just want to add. "Jusper“ cartos (510) from QT works very well (use a small paper clip to rase the central pole on carto). “Mistic " cartos (808) also works greate with adapter (the central pole on the adaptor needs to be adjusted with a screwdriver because Mistic cartos have a long tread).
I've got a charging kit from e-bay yesterday and it's came with 1200mhA batteries. Model 14505. Brand is "SS". Never have heard before. Came with Ultrafire rapid charger. I'm wondering if the batteries are "protected" ones?
Been using the mod for 10 hours already and the batteries are still running strong.

Got mine in today, and it wouldn't fire w/ the the battery cover on. >:/
I figured out that the hole to turn the screw wasn't big enough, and was putting pressure on the unit.
So I got out a razor blade, and shaved off a little plastic on the inside to make the hole slightly bigger.
Thankfully it's been working fine since.
Anyone else had/having this problem?

Nope.
I asked that they leave the little hole in the back out (I actually asked for an unholy VV mod)..

I don't plan to carry a small screwdriver around with me, and I figure that taking the back off the few times I want to change voltage is no big deal, so why have a hole in the back?

So far, it's been working great! I charged it completely at around 11:00 am, it's now 6:20pm and still vaping like a fiend...

Those are definitely odd problems that you folks shouldn't be experiencing with the vv box. Please let us know if they become troublesome and we can swap em out..

We should be able to put the indicator in the box backwards and without the hole for those that want to adjust but want no display flashing. Great idea actually :)
