Hi,

I recently purchased a new VV box mod from mad vapes. I am trying to run an Acorn tank from Parkes on top of it at around 2.8 Ohms. I charged the brand new (from MV as well) Ultrafire 14500's up and am getting nothing at all. Can you give me any thoughts of what I can try to make it work?

Do other attys/carts work on the mod?

Unfortunately, no. I've tried three different regular resistance cartos on it and no joy. They all work on my Sabre though. I'm thinking I can see a little light between one of the pos batt posts and the solder it's supposed to come into contact with. I could easily add another drop of solder to it, but I don't want to void any ability to return it if that's not the issue.

Stuck in the FunHouse
I had the same problem with this box mod with the same batteries.I Luckily live 20 min from madvapes and had them check it out.It turns out that the protection circuit from those same batteries were tripping. When I changed them to trustfire batteries the mod worked again. So if you happen to have different 14500 batteries lying around try that.

You may also want to lift the center post of the 510 connector a little. It may not be making contact with the attys/carts that you are screwing in to it. I find this to be the problem a lot when I am using the black dual coil cartos from Mad Vapes. The stainless steel ones work fine, but black cause me troubles.
I had one of these VV box mods and vaped on it like crazy....then all of a sudden I now get nothing. Must have blown something up inside mine. Haven't had the time to dig into it.

Carpedbass! Hey Neighbor!

I ordered and received this same box 2 weeks ago. I ordered the Trustfires even though they recommend the Ultrafires. Been working FAB with those batts. Only issue I had with those was that I got one dud out of 4, but have been treated VERY well by MadVapes regarding that (as usual).

Ooops, another thing, to agree with Devlin, I did have to raise the center post a tad for one carto tank I was using. Was not firing untill I did that, but this is somewhat common.
