Hey Race, looks pretty sweet, you think you might have time to do a walk through with pics? I actually have an evercool box mod so I can see how everything goes together but what did you put everything into, is it one of those cases that allows you to use a smaller battery in a bigger slot?

Walkthrough! At the very least post some closeup pics and a parts list!

:p I'll work on the walkthrough or close up pics and schematics tonite or the day after since I need to make another one for myself. Already sent the one in the pic to a good friend of mine. I'm also working on a tuning terminal to make it easier to set the voltage on the drop in module. :toast:

Thanks a lot race, it would be greatly appreciated. Can someone answer a question for me, when people turn there gg into a vvgg, does it get setup to use with the regular button or do you have to use an electronic switch that is installed into the module. I am just trying to wrap my head around the buzz circuit in a TS.

Pretty please clean out your pm box, it's full for last 2 days.

cleared out now, sorry

The bad thing with this is that you have to push the original button too to make adjustments with the other button Sky. Its a little dificult that way.
I am going to be beta testing a drop in booster for a company in the next couple of weeks. If they do it properly, should be able to use VV in almost any tube mod.

I will still have a mechanical button even if the VV is an electronic part vanhalen:)

Yes, I realize this but in the case of a drop in unit there would not be much you could do to change it. It would be for any tube variant of an ecig not just the GG. It is more of a broader range unit. Once you got the voltage dialed in to what you want though, you would have no need to change it. Unless you switched to some other atty source. Variable Voltage is one thing. Regulated voltage is the major factor of most of it I believe.
Battery drain is such a waste with ecigs in my mind. I love 3.7voltage batteries but only to a point. Once it drops below the sweet spot I recharge and this will get away from that.

My first thoughts were to make a VV for all mods sky. But the reason I told you before stopped me from making it. But it would be a nice add on for devices without a VV at all. Better something than nothing. Will they make a female connector from one side and a male connector from the other side? I hope it will look nice on mods.

I agree with you too race. I just believe that an e-cig has to be very beautiful, it has to have a nice feeling in your hands and it has to be strong and easy to use. But as I said before, better something than nothing:)
Just like Skyway said. Which is the reason I made the evercool for GGTS as a drop in module. It will also work with any mods that utilizes negative terminal switch. It will work with positive switch but there will be current flowing to the chip all the time even when not pressing the switch.
