GGTS... questions from non GG vaper

Hi folks. thanks in advance for your help.

1. What is your take on the GGTS vs. the PV's that have regulated power so that each vape is the same voltage during the battery discharge cycle?

2. Will the GG VV have regulated variable like above?

3. Will the VV be a module that fits on (or in) the GGTS? So if I got one now I wouldn't be missing out on the GG VV experience if I couldn't afford both?

4. Reading the ecf threads here on GG is intimidating; seems like there are so many variables, you really have to "learn" how this PV works... (that said, the youtube by gotcha69 (?) with the smoke rings makes it look very simple for vaping)
Or is it the various feed systems that seem so technically challenging?
What's up with my impression that it's scary?


5.* I have a new iatty and am waiting for the right o-rings for ceramic from Bruce. I have a Provari and a Buzz Pro that i assumed would work with it... but now i am not so sure after reading about air draw and fittings that perhaps only the GGTS has for adjustment... ?

I'll try to help where I can
1. Never had any regulated mods so sorry can't help there.
2. I don't know if Imeo has answered that yet.
3. The VV will fit on the GGTS or the Stealth it will be an add on.
4. The PV itself is super simple not much to learn at all. Although because it adjusts you do have to be carefull not to over tighten the telescope or you can pinch and either damage or cut out your batts. As for the feed systems they have a bit of a learning curve but once you learn them I havn't seen many people who were unhappy with them. It just takes some playing around. I kinda hated my AVS my first day of owning it. Now I don't know which I like better the iAtty or AVS

5. Your iAtty will work fine with any 510 mod. Most of us GG users have gotten so accustomed to draw controll we can't imagine living without it. For other mods you can get an o-ring to partially cover the intake holes that will kinda work as a draw controll though. One thing you have to be carefull with on the iatty is cross threading ss threads will eat softer metal threads for breakfast if you cross thread. Honestly though if I was concerned about this I would get a shorty 510-510 adapter which works out because that allows you to use the o-ring draw controll a little better although you might need 2 of them.

Hope this helped a little sorry I couldn't help with numbers 1 and 2 but some of the info isn't out and my 2 other mods before my GG were mechanical.

As a personal sales pitch for GG for the money I have in GG products I could have a GGTS with Feed system, Provari, Darwin, Reo mini and grand and a Buzz Pro. The PV is just that good IMHO

1. I just received my GGTS about 2 weeks ago and previously was an avid fan of the evercool (still am now). All I can say is with the right atty the GGTS is uber nice. Since I'm waiting for some parts for my iatty, I'm using the Gotvapes sapphire hybrid atty on it with a small o-ring so I can get the adjustable draw features using just 3.7v and I really liked it. can't wait for my iatty parts to arrive. Comparable to the evercool at 4.3v with ce2. sapphire hits just too hard at that voltage. I like them both and since the GGTS is also so nice to look and hold on to... If I were to choose between the two... I'll take the GGTS anytime especially with the upcoming VV module.

First, welcome to the GG forum! And gratz on acquiring an iAtty. I think you'll truly enjoy it. As to your questions, Fright has pretty much covered what I can answer myself other than the VV versus the mechanical. I tried a VV tube mod and found out quickly that I am a 3.7 range kinda guy. Unless you are as well, that wont be helpful I'm afraid.

I use high mah AW batteries and don't run them down below 3.8 or so and thus am not a good judge of the difference in pratical usage. One thing I can comment on is the seeming intimidation factor of the forum threads.

It all starts with Imeo of course. He is not only gifted with skills and knowledge but to use his words: "Knowledge is limited but imagination encircles the globe". Just look at the thread today of how he melded 2 great products into one arguably better one. Also note the feedback the GG members toss out as a thread progresses.

What really may seem too techy for some is part of how Imeo has chosen to perfect his art. He will start with an idea of his own or from a user and refine it. He then brings it to the users for feedback for further refinement and more feedback. In many ways, all the tech stuff and tweaks you see are all part of the evolution of the GG series.

Imeo truly allows us be a part of the process. Obviously some are more gifted than others but all suggestions and ideas are welcomed. In that regard, unlike most any other custom mod maker, the users that so choose to be are actually a part of the "development team". And that goes beyond the initial ideas and implementation but to updates and revisions of the actual hardware itself as well as true innovations.

Being a GG owner doesn't require any active participation. In fact many choose to watch and/or learn from the process. Not being gifted mechanically, I fall most times into the watch and learn crowd. We are blessed though with virtual experts in every aspecct of the GG line and the invitation to be a part is always extended.

As a part of the "dev team", you will see many tech threads devoted to brainstorming on a user issue or improvement. All of the above to basically say that what may seem intimidating or daunting is just the way Imeo creates his art - openly. For those that choose to, actually being a part of something that you see come to fruition is truly awesome.

Some perceive this as "cult" like mentality but if they would take the time to actually read the forum, they would see that it is simply Imeo allowing his people to be truly a part of the evolution of the GG series. It's being a true part of the process as opposed to just hearing about it. And for this old man, it doesn't get any better than that!

I have had my ssGGts now for exactly 1 day and I am absolutely in love with it... I dont have an iAtty yet but will soon as well as the VV Module when they become available... I cant say enough about it actually but to put it simply I couldn't have built it better myself its perfect I honestly didnt think I would have much use for the adjustable draw function but OMG its amazing... I'm running mine with a DCT Map Tank and its wonderful I got some big ol 18650 3000mah batts that I didnt think would fit and they are a bit snug but I love them 24 hours same batt and still puffing strong... I am so happy with my ssGGts that I cant wait to get the iAtty and UFS and VV... Also like many others I thought it was much bigger than it actually is honestly for lack of a better word it is in every way PERFECT...

One big factor that draws me to the GG sub forum is the intelligent, friendly, enthusiastic discussion.

For myself, I knew i was hooked on vaping as soon as i heard about it... having been a smoker on and off all my life. In the last 20 months or so I've gobbled up a lot of info and devices and last winter found that dumping all my bottom feeder boxes of all types in favor of the regulated variable power PV was the best move to make.

VV - whatever tech it ends up with, and my two cents is that i love having at least one that has LED readouts; resistance, batt check, voltage, so whether that is included or not (and whether regulated power is included as well) I'm sure the GG VV will be wonderful.
My feeling is that minor tweaks in voltage depending on juice vg/pg, different juices, and different atomizers, and different "moods" is what makes the VV so wonderful in itself... and regulated for consistent volts and/or watts is a big plus in my mind.

*My iatty on the Vari (2.8 Ohm at 5 to 5.5 volts) is giving me vapes like no conventional atty that i've ever tried, including the iken Cannon 801/510, and although the draw is "airy" on the Vari, i find that at max voltage the vapor feels and is thicker than ever!
I will look into a tighter draw fix for the Vari before i decide it might only be achieved on the GGTS.

Again, it seems from the posts, there is going to be no penalty for buying a GGTS before the VV comes out as it will be a module add on which would make the GGVV even moreso the "most" versatile PV out there.

i dont think you can really understand or prepare for a gg if you buy one and use it you will see what its all about and why most gg user wont use anything less these are very fine pieces of machinery and are very well built and all the different ways of using it are what makes it can be completely tailor made for you best personal vapeing experience with all the different addons available
