Anyone using a VV Gripper notice it makes a quiet "buzzing" noise? Doesn't seem to do it with normal attys/cartos, but does when I use my DID (rba)

Thx, both are brand new but I went and cleaned both contacts. Unfortunately, still get the noise. I paid a bit more attention and realized I do also get the very quiet buzzing with other attys/cartos as well. They just heat-up quicker and hiss more loudly so I didn't notice it till I tried with the DID. All-in-all, seems to work just fine. The VV Gripper actually vapes really nicely.
Cant wait to try one .....Just got mine and it was DOA. Made sure the battery was fully charged. The only thin I get when I first put the battery in is a flash from the LED screen.
You might want to look at the Vmax threads - it seems some people have had a similar issue with RBA's on it, so it may have to do with the PWM circuitry.
At low voltage you can hear the PWM through the sizzzling of the juice. There is a long off time and it only runs at 100hz. My "buzz" goes away (my half deaf ears can't pick it up anymore) at around 4.2v.
The buzzing sound in various VV mods usually happens when you are operating close to the amp limit of the mod. It is something to do with the switching frequency in the circuit approaching the threshold of human hearing. It's perfectly normal in most cases.
Guess I needed to push the power button 5 times in order for it to start. Works great
Press the power button 5 times rapidly to turn on. It flashes with a battery change.
