VV Mod help

been using a VV mod built from madvapes parts. for about 3 months, or whenever they first came out, the second run. Been working great, but today it quit, without any atty on the led will light, a meter attached says it is putting out voltage, but as soon as you attach an atty or carto (tried several) it does nothing. any ideas what could have gone out?

Well the first thing to do is to check the atomizers in something else.

My personal guess is the batteries.. Might buy a new set and see. If ur batteries are as old as the mod they might be going bad and keep tripping out.. good luck

ya I have two of these mods and the other works great with the same batteries atty ect. have tried fresh batts several attys and cartos, meter says it is putting out voltage but as soon as I put on an atty or carto it does nothing.

Something is shorting out in your mod. Which in turn might be kicking the safety off (when under load. Actually using it) in the batteries... But I personally would think the problem is the mod and you have some type of short. It could be with your connector and its shorting out when you place an atty on there..
I wish you themod best of luck. I know all to well how bad it sucks when your PV is on the fritz..

I'm no expert but it sounds like something is wrong with the voltage regulator. It's one of the only vital parts that could cause your mod to cut out like that.

Make sure the center pin on your 510 connector is not shorting to ground too. I've had connectors come misaligned before and cause that.
