VV pv and TANK questions

Hello everyone my names Pete and I am going to start saving up for a new PV. I had a chuck a while ago and loved it but had to sell it because of financial trouble. Now I have recieved some help from PIF to help me keep vaping and I have so much love for this site.

I am going to be saving up for a new PV and giving back to the community what has been given to me after I have the money for a new PV.

SO my questions are:
1. What are the "best" (In your opinion) veritable voltage device on the market at the moment? I am considering the Provari on the top of my list.

2. What is the best tank mod out at the moment (again your opinion) that would fit on a top end vv device ( like the provari)

The provari is a fairly sound investment from reviews I have seen. I also hear great things about the Darwin. A little on the less expensive side is the buzz pro and infinity pro from notcigs. The new kid on the block is the lavatube.

As far as tanks most are about the same. (they do come is various sizes and materials that I am sure people have opinions on) I use a liquinator and a dct map tank with no issues.

Agree with Fray on this one. The Provari is definitely a sound and solid proven PV for variable voltage. However that being said, the Buzz Pro, Infinity Pro, and the Darwin are also very well built, high quality PV's as well. I also have a handmade Bottom fed VV Box mod called the SGT VV Army Tank made by one of our own ECF Members here, it too is a turbo powerhouse.

As far as tanks go, I own a Dual Coil Stainless Steel MAP Tank myself and I have never had a single issue with it, had it since they first came out as well so probably over two or three months.

The decision definitely lies with you as to what you are looking for in your VV Pv.

I'd go the Infinity Pro route, best price point for a high performance, proven, VV. Notcigs has another one in the queue, should be out in Feb/March timeframe, at an even better price point, but it's still in design.

For a tank, I've been very happy with the notcigs M1A1 1" tank. No leaks, pain free. I'm using it with ikenvape fusion 801 2.5 ohm cartomizers (with a little 808/801 adapter), a really pleasant combo on the VV, running anywhere in the 3.5 - 5V zone. I've also had good luck with V4L coolcarts with the tank, and Boge.

I love my provari. As far as tanks go there are quite a few different ones that all perform the same function. I have had good success with the cheap DCT from smoktech, although with those you have to be careful to not put in certain types of juice that will crack the polycarbonate tank. I just recieved an all stainless steel big daddy tank from big daddy vapor and I am really liking it a lot.

The Provari was everything i had hoped for. These tanks Carto Tank Mods Have been very reliable and durable.

I dont have a vv yet im aiting on the module for mine to come out.
But from many post i read the provari gets a lot of raves and now that the lava tube is out from preorders that may be something for you to look into as well.
For economy tanks i use the acorn tank daily from Parkesvaping and no leaks for 10 bucks with a ce2 preinstalled for me its a good deal.

Lavatube has been getting a lot of attention. But the ProVari will probably be the best investment in the long run. Even if it's a bit more expensive than other VV mods, it has solidarity.

Tanks are pretty much all the same. Two types that people usually get are the carto tanks or the ce2 tanks. I prefer carto tanks, but that's probably because i haven't tried the ce2's.

I think people who own Provaris will stand by their purchase over an opinion on the Lavatube because it's hard to swallow the fact that a PV with like form factor and almost the same features comes in at less than half the cost. If you want to read ohms, the Provari is top, if you know ohms of your atty, the Lavatube has the same circuit limits (2.5amp) as the Provari. The Sabertouch has a 5amp option with VV, but you have to use a tiny screwdriver to raise and lower voltage. It's a little tedious to shift on the fly, per se.

The only mentions have been tube-type PVs for VV. Personally, I like a VV boxmod. It's just more comfy in the pocket, given the size/shape. I've made all my own boxmods from Madvapes VV circuit. It handles 1.5 ohm DC cartos with ease.

I have, in my possession 3 different DC carto tanks. With that said, I use my Bigdaddyvapor tank, mostly. I have it dressed with a stainless sleeve that slides over the poly tube for looks, mostly, but it helps protect the nicquid from UV rays, also. I like it because it's sturdy. It doesn't hurt that it's the most attractive of my tanks, either. The others are a DCT MAP tank and a Liquinator 8.5mL BFT. The DCT MAP is a more snug fit on the carto, and the BFT Liquinator has more capacity (that's not really neccessary to me)

The notcigs pvs have a higher limit, 15w, people drive their 1.5 ohm dc up to about 4.7v, a bit over 3.1a split between the two coils. I tend not to go much above 10w, and that rarely, but if you like to get higher power it is there.
