Yes, of course there are solutions that could handle the onslaught of REOnuttiness, but that would open a whole new can of ugly. Main point: Rob has a running solution and any change would be hours better spent on making mods =)

Let's just look at the mod sale nights with the eyes of true addicts: If it is too inconvenient, we do not want it enough.

Edit: On a Mac, use cmd+R to refresh a page. I am not sure if that is similar to F5 or CTRL+F5 on a PC, though.

"Let's just look at the mod sale nights with the eyes of true addicts: If it is too inconvenient, we do not want it enough." no, i tell u some will not get it no matter how diligent... and i'm not trying to minimize interest and thus have a better chance by demoralizing anyone. really.
feeling a bit ridiculous.

congrats to all you pioneering VV reonauts.

for those that don't get one, and have $$$ on hand, there's lots of high end LR atomizers to try on your 3.7.
Really, it's all about optimizing the design of the atomizer with the given voltage/watts.

looking back on the vv woodvill sale night, i also think because of the madness i had a change, i would be way to slow if the server was able to handle the trafic. and yes i also think that if you really really want it you are persisent enough to sit it trough to refresh and kicked again numerous of times for, in my case 1.5 hours. i do really hope that if we decide to go for the vv grand that the same madness will occur. i really love looking back at it, and it is a great story to tell my children, my daugther enjoyed it very much :D

I have to agree even though I didn't get my first pick I already love the 1 I got and haven't even touched it yet (not to mention the Cocobolo is one of the Mod fathers and many other fav) it took me 1.75 hours and i loved every frustrating minute of it so much so that I turned right around and participated In the same or similar madness with a Trippy tip sale which I was able to finally get the sought after donut. So keep up the good work Rob keep making the best Mods out there and we'll keep battling

I have been through a few sales that had me on the verge of an anxiety attack! But that VV Woodvil sale was the first that came up with an error message. I was prepared (so I thought!) for a hectic purchase attempt. I was not prepared for errors and the reloading many times. The one thing that gave me some relief was that when the page would load my two items were still in the cart! Each attempt took me closer to PayPal. I knew each page! It only took me 1/2 hour to get mine from what I see on my PayPal receipt.

I will be there for the VV Grand sale. I will be prepared again to face whatever happens. Can't wait!

I kept getting errors on the check out page that I needed to choose another shipping option. BUT, there was only one option available--Flat Rate.

The mod was still in my cart (not a zero or not available), so I don't believe that was the issue. I did have other items (springs, tubes) in my cart so that may have been the problem. Those items checked out just fine the next day.

So, for the VV Grand sale -- MOD ONLY. We will see if I am more successful.

I guess I shouldn't mention it only took me 45 minutes to checkout.

I just hope for the vv grand sale I am not at work (this was an advantage for me at the time of the vv woody sale as I was off the phones), I'm now back on the phones and won't e able to dedicate that kind of time.

However either way I will join in the "party" :D

Looking forward to the VV grands, I do wish the squonk hole was placed on the side though, I think the mod would look sleeker and the function would be just as good or better especially with the button on the side. Taking it one step further I would like to see the top completely squared off since there is no biutton on top. THis would leave room for electronics and I believe it would reduce the overall length of the mod.. Basicly it would be one square block of alumium from three sides. THe fouth side would have the squonk hole and the button. I do know that most don't agree with this. It will be a great functioning mod regardless of my heretical views.
