well, now I am the proud Papa of 2 REO's...a red/black Grand and a green/black mini. I added the new button to both, and love them very much....The first REO, the Grand, had been modified by the previous owner, disabling the off feature. When I started vaping with the Mini, I noticed how the new button made it much easier to unintentionally spin the button to the off position..I keep doing this, and frankly it's rather annoying. Has anyone else had this problem? I am thinking of disabling the off position on this Mini, as pocket firing has never really been a problem for me before..

LOVE MY NEW REOS!!

Me too! I can't imagine anyone not liking it...but I am so curious to see everyone's reactions when they get it. I love that it doesn't matter how hard or soft you push it...straight on or angled...you get the same vape every time.

On the mini...I did it once to make sure I knew how to do it...because someone asked. When I did it, I simply took a small pointy metal object (like an icepick, awl or in my case a letter opener: paperclips are too flimsy) and pushed the little locking pin into the button.

The new button on the VV Grands don't have this problem at all as the on/off switch is inside the mod and the button is only made for pushing. :)

Can you imagine how Robert feels?

Robert usually has to wait for the machining and finishing on the metal REO's. He is trying to have all the finishes done in his shop so he can be sure they are up to his standards. He would no longer face batches of sub-standard anodizing and the cost involved.

Now he is waiting on another manufacturer. The VV chips.

Rest assured that he is doing everything he can while waiting for their arrival.

As REO owners we can only know that he is doing his best and must be even more frustrated than we are at this point.

I would imagine you are quite right Nerak. If it ain't one thing it's another. I hope Rob understands we are only needling him in a fun way. It helps on our end. :)
Thanks oplholik I can take it :) My hands are tied I ordered the parts with plenty of time to spare . There was a problem at the factory that makes the vv units . I have done this enough times I am usually close to my planed release dates . I will email Mike this weekend for a eta on the chips and get back to you folks with any info that is passed on to me
