Can you post a pic of the bottom of your ERA? It sounds like it's shorting causing the electronics in the VVG not to fire. Did you try another atty on it?

thank you for responding! Yah, I tried a couple of different atties and none of them fired, tho they fired on the other Reos, till Lisa said to push up on the tube close to the connector, then the atties worked. But I have to do it every once in a while

Lisa:wub:called me, she figured out, with Wayne in the background also helping, that i need to send it back to the Reo hospital.

When I sent my VV Reo's in to Rob on Monday, I also sent my ERA with them- I'm thinking that the ERA is to blame in some way. The ERA as good as it is, has caused center pin problems in my Grand as well...but I've been able to deal with it. I just don't know enough about the electronics in the VV Reo's to deal with them.

Pietro, bless him, lent me an ERA when he came to visit, and he wasn't gone 15 mins. when my VV G quit working. I'm going to send it on back to him, lol, and chalk up the ERA to it's not my cup of tea:)

Don't give up on the ERA quite yet- it's a good bottom feeder. Although I had some issues, I still believe it it.
Pietro huh? Oh yeah...well, he taught Coco a few bad tricks...some that were fun but always left me with some pain...sort of like S&M... LOL  (you would have to ask him the specifics)...

Nothing at all wrong with the button action, just that the off center is hit or miss for me on firing. It is rubbing on the side wall of the frame. Left hand it is fine, but I'm a righty and it is just tucked a bit too tight, not enough offset.

I have been paying a bit more attention-I thought it was the center pin-Yet the more I pay attention, I think it is the button. Instead of going to the atomizer when that happens, I can adjust the pressure point on the button and it fires :(
ETA
With the button facing me (using my right hand) , if I press it to the right it fires-dead on or to the left-no action. Which makes sense when using in my left hand the force of my thumb is to the right side. :(

i've noticed that one of mine will drain the batteries to less than 3v. Its happened twice now. the other will cut off around 3.2v, as I think they're supposed to in order to protect the batteries. I guess I should send it in, but I don't want to go without it for even a week! I'm happy enough just to change the batts every night, they are usually about 3.6 at the end of the day so I figure if I make sure to check them periodically and make sure they don't drain too far I should be okay, right? Or might this be indicative of another, more serious issue that might bite me later? Other than that one issue with the one VVG, they are both performing beautifully!

Rob, you know I'm a long time fan of your business. I just wanted to point out that THIS is a huge reason why. Not only do you put out an excellent mod, you practically demand others let you stand behind it. If only every business out there would do this, care this much about their product and their customer's continued enjoyment of it....wow, what a nice thought.

I will get it in the mail next week. Do I use the return address on the box it came in? I still have it.
Yes that is my address

A little warning to those of you using the era rba... I have had people crushing their gaskets on their reos with this atomizer so I really took a look at the atomizer this morning. The threaded stem on the bottom of the atomizer is too long.
I will be charging for this fix. It's not fair to me (or to you for that matter.) Here is a picture of a standard atomizer and the era. You can see the era stem is longer. I am not happy about this. I have no idea why they would build an atomizer like this.
