Hey Rob,
While I'm busily trying to support the latest group buy for the ERA atomizer, I also recognize that there's a problem here. I asked just last night how one of the ERA posters got the ERA to fit on a REO mini. I asked if maybe they had some type of adapter in use to extend the connection. Now this has me wondering if it was possible they actually lengthened the connetor slightly out of spec. I will start asking some questions regarding this throw length. Can someone mic the standard atty length and the length of the ERA in this picture to give us some dimensional data for reporting to BudZ WorX. Many thanks & I'm sure all this will get worked out.

A little warning to those of you using the era rba... I have had people crushing their gaskets on their reos with this atomizer so I really took a look at the atomizer this morning. The threaded stem on the bottom of the atomizer is too long.
I will be charging for this fix. It's not fair to me (or to you for that matter.) Here is a picture of a standard atomizer and the era. You can see the era stem is longer. I am not happy about this. I have no idea why they would build an atomizer like this.

I put a grand's bottle o-ring on my ERA...not a great fit but it allows the ERA to make contact and I can vape.
I put a mini bottle's o-ring on the ERA- a tight fit...and it won't make contact w/ the center pin of my Grand to allow me to vape. I think it really depends on the center pin of the ERA and how much it's protruding.

Just wanted to say this VVG was well worth the wait. I bought a mini off the classifieds last Christmas. Was pretty satisfied as far as vaping. Although I really had to pull hard on it when vaping. Bought 1.7 cartos that seemed to help. Don't worry I cleaned very well, so that was not the problem. Today am vaping a pretty Silver VVG and it is heaven. A new REO is so worth it, thank you for this awesome device. My batteries are the 18350AW from RTD vapor, and can get an entire day on one set. AWESOME! Beats changing my minis 4 times a day. :) Thanks Rob!

I really had to fight with myself not to buy another one this morning I almost lost but the color I was looking at disappeared before my eyes I took it as a sign

oh you'll be back...oh yes you will...

I fought the temptation, too, for a long while...I breathed a huge sigh of relief when the VVG sale was over...
the I discovered that he still had some!
Oh No!
But I didn't break cuz he didn't have the color I wanted....WHEW!!!

Long story short, I bought a purple one....

A couple of days ago I bought a blue one...

The modman infuses his fingers with some sorta chemical that infects people as soon as they touch one, it's called the Reos virus,
and the outward symtoms is the irrepressable need to have another..and another....

Good news!!! Coco and Buster (Black VV Grand) are on their way back from the Mod Master- all refitted with center pin gaskets and cleaned up!! Woo hooo!! They should arrive on Monday. I couldn't believe that Coco actually behaved herself. I hope that she's not a floosey traveling in the same package as Buster and that Buster keeps his hands off of her!!

I keep telling my wife that she's married to a genius.....She still doesn't believe me.

I fixed the ERA. I machined the 510 Connector down to the proper size.

Nautty1:

I wonder if I might impose on you and ask a favor? Being cursed with a considerably lower than average IQ I struggle to comprehend the meaning and intent of even the simplest posts and if they are of a technical nature I become as confused as a starving vegetarian locked in a butcher shop.

Although I look forward to all of your posts and opinions expressed I sometime get frustrated with trying to separate your different thoughts and specific ideas due to the lack on any punctuation. I'm sure it's not a problem for most, if not all other readers but I rely on them to help me stop reading and give thought to a point that was just made or even formulate a question if a reply is in order. Simply things like the use of capitalization, commas, periods, etc. would make it much easier for me to learn from your experiences.

On a different note, you chose wisely when you ordered a VV Grand and will most likely enjoy it as much as the rest of the Reonuts that frequent this forum.

Be patient while waiting for your ERA, they're scarce and hard to come by but well worth what it takes to get one.

Have a good day and enjoy your new Reo.

Jack
