Doesn't the coffee grounds get everywhere in the mod, like the electronics and stuff? Since it's wood you can't even wash it. Does the coffee odor stick?

Coffee odor hasn't stayed in mine. I can't vape anything with coffee flavor so I certainly would notice if the coffee flavor hung around. When the finish odor is really strong it will make your juice taste a little like the finish odor especially if the juice flavor is delicate. My Curly Oak VV has much less finish odor than it did 24 hours ago and even then it wasn't nearly as bad as most of the others have been.

another great thing about mine is no odor at all. when i got my lacewood 18490 i had to do the coffee thing for 2 days and still could smell a bit of finish but it went away quick thereafter

the smell was pretty strong in mine but its already going away

Just have to say these VV Woodvils are so much more beautiful than a picture can capture. I didn't get my first or second choice and thought I may now love the ones I got but all I can say is WOW!! They are just absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy with my picks. I'm actually glad I didn't get the first one we picked which was the stabilized 12. I don't think it could top these. Truly stunning. Here they are. although like I said the photos just don't do them justice.

Also the way the light reflects in the wood is just beautiful too. It looks like shadows in the pic of the one on the bottom left pic but that is actually the wood. Really hard to capture the beauty with my cheap camera. I love them. I could not have asked for a more beautiful mod.

It's hard to capture the beauty of the WOOD even with an expensive camera and studio equipment. Your pictures are great. Beautiful VVs!!!!!!

Sorry you have a problem with yours. If you do send it back to Robert it will be back to you probably mid-week next week. He usually fixes them the day he gets them and always in the mail next morning if not that same afternoon.

I have to add that the finish odor on mine is quite strong, almost to the point of being unpleasant to vape. So why do I keep going back? gonna have to try the coffee trick.

Also I have to say what happened to make the mod not work, is the green wire was not soldered on so it slipped out. So I talked to Rob or Robert (not sure which he goes by) and all it needs is to be put back in place and soldered on. So I will go by Walmart and borrow one to try to fix it myself. Just something very minor. He responded very fast to my PM and even offered to fix it and overnight it back to me if I am not able to fix it. So great service and I can not say enough about how stunningly beautiful they are and how happy I am with them. I can not stop looking at it. LOL Thanks ROB.

Know what you mean. Notebook, TV, Mike's Hard, and VV Woodvils and Woodvil all in line of vision. Good luck with the soldering. You can do it. Good eye spotting it. Yikes..... I didn't know the bezel on my notebook was dirty.

the curly oak in mine seemed lighter in the online photo, but its prolly due to the flash, its beautiful either wayi cant wait to fill it up with juice and vape it!

Some of the pictures, on site, were a tad overexposed making them appear lighter than they really are. When you are doing a bunch of different woods and colors it is extremely time consuming to adjust for each individual Woodvil.

Now how can I say this without being condescending. Its less about the camera, and more about lighting and composition. Not that mine are anything special, mind you. I do know several pros and one of their biggest pet peeves is when they get told 'You take such great photos. You must have a really great camera.'

Thank you. I really love them too. I have a journeyman and when placed next to the Reo there is just NO comparison. I think if there is a difference between the mods I got and the pic on the site when I chose them, the difference is that they are so much more beautiful in person. I don't think I will ever want another kind of mod again....Well maybe a VV Grand. But I have a Reo Grand and now a VV Woodvil and I really prefer the wood. Also just got my trippy tip donut in today. Great timing for the impromptu photo shoot.

Congrats on the TT donut. Beautiful!!!! I just picked up my TT haul, yesterday, from the sale over a week ago. Haven't even had time to wash them.

Howards Feed Wax.

I am going to pick up some and use it on my new VV. I have a regular Woodvil that has a rough finish from using it with wet/damp hands. I don't want the same thing to happen with this one. Then maybe I will be able to take it to the barn with me.

You can also run that tape all the way around and make a tab on the other side - makes pulling batts out a lot easier.

Yes it does BUT.............. At first I did that to all my batteries. On a couple of Mini Woodvils it bulged the doors out no matter how I turned the tab. Tolerances just too close. It certainly helps if one has nibs for fingernails. That was average thickness electric tape. I haven't tried doing tabs with scotch tape.

Ok after following along with everyone on here receive there babies all day and as the day got later I wasn't sure I was gonna make it to the PO to get mine I knew I would miss the mailman and have to pick her up at the PO online it said Notice left on 1 line and Delivered on another went to PO 10 minutes before they closed and they couldn't find her so I was pretty bummed So I came on home and today was my cleaning lady day and she must have signed for it cuz there my package was on my kitchen counter and I also received my Trippy tip donut SOOOOOOOOOOOO without further a due heres my sexy Coco ladies and gentlemen
