Mine worked all night and on the drive home this morning. Hopefully I won't have a problem. Even if the problem does arise, I would still like a VV Grand.

It's probably a minority. And Robert is on it already. Just remember to turn the switch off when not using it.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Hello Munkey I am aware of the issue this is not the only case . I am pretty sure its the push button switch . I have one of the units that did this here with me I am testing .I replaced the switch and it has showed no signs of turning on by itself since . I have talked with Mike from notcigs about the issue he said worst case you will burn a atomizer - cartomizer there is no danger to the batteries . Send the mod to me I will repair it and get it back to you asap .
I only wish this would have showed up with the beta mods but it didn't . Others that are reading this it would be a good idea to turn your mod off while your not using it

Rob,

Appreciate the reply and its good that the cause is known. I am on a family trip and trying to keep the vaping a "secret" but if I get a chance I will sneak off to the post office. Just wish I had brought the grand now!

Also appreciate your posts Alice, your observations are exactly the same as what's happening here.

I picked up an Njoy at 7-11, last week, to see how it compared to the one that they carried before. It'll do in a pinch but it did need a charge, out of package, and if you have juice you can refill. It has a USB plug-in charger. It was $19.99. And guy, at counter, reminded me to keep the receipt in case I wanted to bring it back.

My thoughts are with you. Sorry that happened on va-ca.

Big Hugs, Feisty Alice

feel like I should be wearing a white cotton glove, while holding my vv.
It feels like butter in my hand:)

Know what you mean. I just flooded 801 atty and then did a quick movement and slopped juice on it. Quick trip to kitchen to do damp rag. But I'm sure it would be perfectly fine if I didn't do the damp rag until convenient.

Only really bad thing about 801 atty is they can be messy.

Pics really don't do them justice... I now truly feel like a member of the family! Love my Grand, but this cements it!

I've even got Howard's now... Got lucky, the local hardware store stocks it. It's one of those small hardware stores that are disappearing, that always seems to have just what you need, even if Lowe's doesn't. Love Fitch Lumber!

This thing is amazing. Beautiful, works beautifully, and I'd swear my liquid tastes better from it, even at low voltages...

Now I just need a natural wood, and then maybe a VV Grand to take some abuse, and I think I'll be all set...

Robert, you da man!!!

Ok, Sorry... Can't get the image to work. Will correct as soon as possible.

I may have screwed my 510 connector and or atty in to tight. My 510 connector has one of those floating insides. I've been having a very difficult time the past couple hour getting anything to fire (4 different type atty's and boge cartos) Seems my connector wont work anymore on the Reo, but will on my other devices.

In order for me to get an atty or carto to fire I need to pry the middle part with the hole (threaded end) out as far as I can and sometimes I get it to fire.

any suggestions ? should I get a connector that doesn't float in the middle?

do I need to send it back for repair and stop screwing so tight!

Robert, received the e-mail (thanks!) and came here to read about it. Well... considering I live in Italy (my package should reach me early next week), I'd much prefer if this is something that could be repairable without sending back the unit to you.

How hard would that be, in the hands of somebody good at soldering? Could you send just the replacement switch in this case? Any extra detail on the nature of the malfunction will be much appreciated. For instance, does it do it always (so if I use it for a while and it doesn't do it I'm gonna be safe) or it can go hours without manifesting the problem and then, all of a sudden, it happens?

Hello Gorman I believe its the switch causing the problem .If it is definitely the switch it would be a simple fix if you can solder. I am still testing the unit I have here I will update everyone via email and here on ecf as soon as I no for a fact that is is the switch

I just took some folks to jail. One was a young pregnant girl who was talking noise about wanting a cigarette. I showed her my VV Woodvil and vaped it for her. She was impressed. She commented about e-cigs being expensive and I reminded her how expensive a daily smoking habit can be. I gave her some quick words of wisdom about not buying gas station models or anything from the mall kiosk. Maybe she'll look into it when she gets out? I hope so.

I adore my VV Woodvil.

Sounds like its an issue for a tiny few VVs and not with the Woodvils. Not that it would have mattered. My new REO Woodvil lasted 24 hours.:grr: :-x While in the waiting room during my wife's dialysis I left to use the restroom and when I got back my new Woodvil was gone. I was the only one there and gone for just a couple of minutes. I asked around the people who work there and none of them seen anything or it. My wife was the only one having treatment when it disappeared so some there had to have taken it. They are lucky I didn't have my Python with me.....people are *ucked!!!!!

Even if the color is not the very same as on Rob's pic (it's much darker), this Reo is just awesome !! It's just not easy to show the real color on a photo...

The most reallystic pics I was able to make :
