First I never take any of my REOs out on errands or appts even before this sale. I always take my Woodchucks just in case. Since I just got it and didn't want to part with it this morning. I also want to thank all the well wishes I read here. So....
Just got a call from the Modesto Police Dept which the Center involoved once they viewed the camera footage. Evidently it shows a attendant talking to me (telling me no smoking/vaping indoors) and then me leaving to the restroom where a worker enters, sits next to my chair and look around then pickup my hoodie ( I forgot I even had it with me) with the REO in it. A parking lot camera shows that worker tossing my hoodie into a dumster. The worker was a member of a contracted cleaning crew and I was told the Center has fired the service. The Police retieved the REO from the ....... and if I decided to press charges then it could be held as evidence or I could just pick it up. My wife gets wiped out after dialysis so as not to leave her alone I'll wait till the morning. Since she has only 2 more weeks of treatment the Center offered to pick her up and bring her home till it ends and is profusely sorry for what has happened.

What's the recommended line on waxing the back of the door? How about the rails? Do I just keep the wax inside the cavity of the mod?

I know it'll be tough to risk having your Woodvil being introduced as evidence, but you should press charges. Theft is theft, but theft in a medical facility is much worse. Nail that lump of crap to a wall.

I am so thrilled that your Reo was found!!
But I'm so sorry your wife has to be on dialysis! 
Just pick up your Woodvil and enjoy it, Gil. Whether or not the guy gets prosecuted, it's very unlikely he's going to be deterred from future thievery. I'm glad the police came through for you and your Woodvil was recovered. I'd like to do more than that to the dirbag but evidently the Center has had equipment loss too so I'll let them hande charges I just want my REO back...soon.
Wax on. Wax OFF. Giving it some time to soak in to the wood is cool, though.

Thank you but her kidneys have improved a lot and we are planning an Alaska trip when she up to it.

Got my VV REO working.Yay. A little soldering and it's working great. Mine doesn't have the wood or chemical taste like the hubby's so it must be that the Curly Oak holds the scent mnore. I'm sure it will fade away soon. If not he can just use the coffee grains. Here's what they look like....again.
Mine's got a curly oak body and has the same smell and taste. I'm just leaving my door off, it seems to be helping and if it doesn't go away in a week or two, I may have to get my coffee can out.
I'm not new to vv vaping but this feeding system rocks!! The feeding system is the main reason I bought mine and I couldn't be happier with it! I thought I had a problem with it not firing this morning when I tried it before going to work.. but I think maybe my carto wasn't screwed down or something, it's been working fine all evening. I'm still going to be on the watch for the switch issue but I think mine is OK
edit.. so it's not OK.. firing on it's own while it sits upright on a table beside me. It's packed up and ready to send back to Maine in the morning.

Yes, the back of the door needs wax! Inside I use a cotton swab and wax all of it. Yes, I do the rails too! My REO's get wax all over, of course not the catch cup or switches!

As long as someone's going after him. It may not deter him from future crime, but maybe it'll get him off the streets for a while. We went full bore on the guy that stole our car, and we now get occasional checks from him from prison. They aren't much, 10 or 15 bucks apiece, but we get enormous satisfaction in knowing that it's money he doesn't have anymore in a place where if you can't pay for smokes, you have to earn 'em on your knees.

Im going to vape myself into a coma with the Tesla and finally relax. Just wanted to thank Karen for her concern and putting all of weight of Facebook on the case before I sign off for the night. 
Sounds like its an issue for a tiny few VVs and not with the Woodvils. Not that it would have mattered. My new REO Woodvil lasted 24 hours.
While in the waiting room during my wife's dialysis I left to use the restroom and when I got back my new Woodvil was gone. I was the only one there and gone for just a couple of minutes. I asked around the people who work there and none of them seen anything or it. My wife was the only one having treatment when it disappeared so some there had to have taken it. They are lucky I didn't have my Python with me.....people are *ucked!!!!!
Damn buddy I just read this and it made me sick to my stomach. The world is full crappy people I'm so sorry you had to experience this first hand
On a positive note at least you have Tesla to console you 
I would have lost my cool I can tell you that*edit* having read further I'm extremely happy to hear its all going to work out and your woody has been located good job Tripp (see Pietro all cops aren't bad!) I know this!

Just a fantastic feeling with it, very light, big power, maybe i need to get glasses regarding colors, but not important for me, better to use than to look
