I keep reading about waxing. What is it exactly you're doing?

Since the VV Woodvil is wood we use wax for protection and to help keep it from drying out. It is a good idea to coat the inside with wax. This wax can also be used on the outside of most of the VV Woodvil's.

Howard's Feed & Wax is what most use. They also make the SunShield wax that is good to protect against UV rays. UV can cause some of the woods to change color over time. You can find Howard's wax here:
SunShield | Howard Products
Some home stores or hardware stores carry it as well as online retailers like Amazon.

ok, i used howards on the inside of mine, helped mask the finish smell too, and wow, ive never seen a mod soak up howards liek that, haha, i dont think ive used it on and unfinished portion though, so then i went back and did the inside of all my mods, anyways
i let it air out a few more days and it still had a little bit of the finish smell on it, but its not affecting the vape liek it was before, i love the size of it, its smaller then most VVs and fits perfect in my hand, the wood is flawless and beautiful. i cant complain about it at all. the button placement is seemless
overall this is one amazing mod!
only 2 small things i would want which isnt even a big deal is id like an extra magnet on the door so it holds it a little tighter, and second the wheel to change the voltage is extremely touchy, i wouldnt be able to set it without a meter. not sure if anything could be done about that anyways. heres a picture of my beauty! using some BWB Pear in it right now

Now that I have a natural wood REO I use Howard's Feed & Wax both on the inside and out. It makes a big difference. I also use on the inside of my stabilized REO too. You can use it on the outside finish of the stabilized REOs too but when I asked Rob he said with the heavy poly finish on this batch it wasn't necessary that I could use a soft clean cloth.

Hello every body,

a little trick to easily adjust its voltage without voltmeter evry time : I measured with the voltmeter exactly 5V, and a toothpick and a bit of red nail polish borrowed from my wife and thoroughness more patience. I did the same thing to 4V with a white color. And it's great.

I do not remember having ever read this tip on ECF, otherwise, Thousands apologize to the member who had already written ;)

I haven't really been paying attention to the waxing thing.. but after reading up on it, I've decided to get some and wax mine also. Plus I've got some nice pieces of wood furniture that will benefit from this stuff as well :D I am an amazon prime member so I can get free shipping at amazon. I wonder if Lowes carrys it?

edit.. I don't see it at Lowes but Homedepot has it on their site for $8

The Buzz Pro has three marks like that. I don't remember where they are but, they are what I'm used to and I do miss them. I'll probably be going by a hobby store to get some model paint to reproduce them. The other thing I miss a little is the Buzz has an led inside beside the knob. I glows red all the time but, it turns blue when you fire it. If it doesn't turn blue, your batteries are dead. Kind of handy when you're wondering if it might be the atomizer. That's a minor thing though. I'm pleased with the mod without it. :)

Yep the buzz pro comes with three colored marks on the wheel. I was going to do mine but its been fine starting low and going up from there. Still might mark the wheel someday if I'm bored.

This VV is really a must have for cartomizers .... enjoying my first carto in a long time on the VV Woodvil. IMO they are more touchy than an atty for just the right voltage, and they vary quite a bit in the same lot of cartos. Dialing each one in is the way to go.

I prefer my cartos on metal mods though, guess that means I need 2 VV Grands ASAP!

I don't see there being allot of them .Some bad switches in the batch it happens .
Best to turn the mod off when your not using it

I took one of mine to work yesterday and it started firing on it's own intermittently. Since i couldn't figure out where the on/off switch was(and still haven't figured that out if someone could enlighten me please:facepalm:) I just dumped the batteries out of it when I had to leave the office. Curiously enough, it hasn't done it again since yesterday morning. So maybe it's something that "fixed" itself after enough use/time? Unless it starts again, I'm not worrying about it at this point. I will continue to remove the batteries for now though when I'm away from it for extended periods of time. This is a killer mod Rob. Absolutely beautiful piece of work and I couldn't be more pleased with it than I am now. Unless maybe I could find that on/off switch? :D
