There's a fair amount of that going on as well. I think they're jealous. They see us fawning all over our VV's and feel replaced.

I got news for ya, Joop. If you could quiet my nic cravings with as much class as the VV does, I'd be vaping you. You're much better off chasing bedmice and collecting dropped ham in the kitchen.

I caught our poofy cat (Jupiter Poopiter) rubbing up on my VV Woodvil yesterday. I think she was trying to polish it for me.

You might end up having to call yours a tesla soon ;) Science teacher in high school had a cat skin and a big glass rod. Rub the cat fur on the pyrex for a while and he could hit someone with a static shock at about 3 feet.

Good to know, but a much more effective attack is to just throw the cat at them. Better range, more points of impact, and that flimsy Faraday cage ain't gonna deter a flying bundle of claws.

I'm giving the 510 kangers another shot I have a couple packs I bought a few months back and never used because the always tasted burnt even in a tank they seem to be working well with my VV wood I guess all they needed was to be bottom fed
Well I managed to keep the carto on the VV for three days. That was my carto fun for a few months now back to my regularly scheduled atomizers.

As soon as mine started firing on it's own.. I took the batts out, the carto off and boxed it up to send back. I know it's a killer mod but I don't know about it being able to fix itself. If it does it once it may do it again. If I were you, I'd just bite the bullet and send it back and be sure. (and safe) :)

Mine is already back with Rob :) Now the waiting begins again :( It's all good.. I love vapemail and now have something to look forward to! :D

The stabilized burl can have little holes or divits. Mine has it. Some are bigger, some tiny. I don't know if it is from the stabilization process or the nature of the burl.

Have not had a problem with the door hitting the wheel.

Howdy all. It's the nature of burled and certain figured wood. And with the infusion process very weak parts of the wood can and will come loose or disintegrate.

This is one reason that Robert warns about the delicacy of Spalted Woods.

The coffee should be a one time thing. How long you have to have it in coffee grounds is what can vary.
my wife's had zero Oder. I didn't notice any Oder with mine till day 2. Overnight with some coffee grounds cured that though.

My Curly Oak was the worst. Spalted Maple and Bloodwood had far less. There's still a little left in Oak but not too bad. I haven't done the coffee as they really don't need it after a few days airing.

With some other woods and/or finishes I've had a few that needed over a week in coffee for me and DH. One I had to do for a month.

Some people are more affected by the odor than others. Also, really strong juice flavors will mask the odor.

Just another dumb question from a noob :) When you buff out the Reo after using the wax can you use a paper towel or do you need a cloth rag?

I like to use very thin flannel. Many materials can remove too much of the wax. One of those would be microfiber cloths with heavy nubs. In fact the only microfiber I would use would be the slick for glasses and such but still microfiber is made to do a lot of absorbing.

I was thinking that maybe something was just a bit too tight in mine and after using it for a while it loosened up. If that makes any sense. But mine fired off on it's own twice on the first day I used it. Happened about 1 1/2 hours after I started using it.

3 days later of heavy use and it hasn't done it again.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Glad to hear that. And glad for you. I think I'll keep my self firing Oak around a few more days and use it to see what happens. The other two are still fine.

My curly oak reeked. The other 2 not so much. I went on and used Howards on the curly oak after I got it and it cut the smell of the finish immediately. Quick fix if you ever need it. :)

That's good to know cause my curly oak reeked also! Maybe it'll have time to air out on it's trip back North. If I open the bottle of juice that I had in it.. I can still smell it LOL. I just hope that the smell will eventually go away cause it was so strong it was making me nauseous and I just couldn't vape through it. I'd hate to have to leave it in a can of coffee for a whole month but I'll do what I have to do.

I would do a Romney on your Reo. Tie it to the top of your car and drive to Canada. Smell should go away.
