I've come to a conclusion and it led me to a question or two. Questions first: What's the warranty like on these things? And, can the warranty be transferred?

This is a really nice mod. It performs exceptionally well. -- As I've said in this thread once or twice, the wood is too elegant for me. My VV Woodville stays behind when I leave the house because I'm concerned about damaging it. Metal would have been a better fit for me... But I've decided against selling it.

What I plan to do is offer it as a trade for a VV Grand in the classies after the VV Grands are out. So, that makes me wonder about the questions I led this post with.
mechanical Metal mods have a one year warranty not that it matters they will last a life time imo . Wood mods I warranty for 6 months .It doesn't matter weather the mod has switched hands I will stand behind the mod . I would be willing to bet you could trade that mod for a brand new vv grand if I remember correctly you have a ebony vv woodvil

I'm sure I'll manage to suffer through it... It's not disgusting just strong enough to notice. Will try a new O-ring, PGA rinse and fresh refill tonight. I'm using a different bottle so this is coming from the feed tube, o-ring and cap. Brew

You wouldn't

Yep I am sure a good cleaning should take care of it .

He's like Ollivander. "I remember every single wand I've ever sold, Mr. Potter. It so happens that the phoenix whose tail feather is in your wand, gave another feather — just one other. It is very curious indeed that you should be destined for this wand when its brother gave you that scar."

The only complaint I have about Rob's warranty is that he forgets to charge sometimes. Slippery ________:laugh:
I have sent in mods that have switched hands a few times and he fixes them right up and sends them back like they are brand new!
Now if my air conditioner guy would live by the same principle life would be good! (and the plumber and electrician)

Thanks man. I appreciate it. -- Mine is the bloodwood that was the second to last one on page 8. Its color has deepened very much over the last month, but not quite to ebony ;)

While I'm certain I could sell it and even maybe at a profit, what I want is this same exact PV in metal. So, a trade seems like the best thing to do. I really do enjoy this mod. It's kick .... Now that I've been using it every night at my desk for almost a month, I can't see myself going without a VV REO for any length of time. ---> Not that I would adverse to owning both... but my collecting days are over. What was 35+ PVs is now around a dozen, and my ultimate goal is to get it down to seven.

My personal collection is at 7 now (hopefully to be at 8 after the VVGrand sale): 2 minis, 2 woodvil minis, 1 18490 Reo, 1 Grand and 1 VVWoodvil. I have no other PV's- it there not Reos I don't want them.

I agree. I have a limit of just 3 which I only have 2 atm. The 3d is in the form of a block waiting for the next shucking of wood. ;) btw your pkg should arrive by tuesday Dave. Sorry to hear the issue with RTD. Thats not like Randy AT ALL! Something must be going on with him.

I feel the same way coming up on 1 year mark next month and I'm the proud owner of 5 Reos and only Reos = 3 Minis, 1 Grande, and my VVW Blaze just waiting on 1 more VVG Bling and I should be good for a few:D
