Gives new meaning to the word 'sham-poo'. Not sure what to make of this. I might have at least opened up the mini bar and raided the over priced vodka.

:lol::lol::lol:

The hotel doesn't have a mini-bar but I did see, on bank statement, that he made a debit purchase at a liquor store, the day before the incident; probably vodka as he's just recently started enjoying a Bloody Mary, now and then, to unwind. He probably gave it a good vodka wash. We were so busy giggling and him pointing out little imaginary specks I didn't ask any questions. We were at The Oasis and had tossed down a "few" before he told me.

Being in medical fields, for ages, and living in a "kennel," with an army of GIANT and Large, county house dogs, we aren't very squeamish about many things.

I haven't seen DH giggle so much in decades.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

it is turing out that we use both the vv's and the mini's in rotation. after a bit of vaping on the vv's the taste and vapor drops due to the atty is getting sorta overheated, it is very hot when you touch it. it was a problem for us before we got our mini's and i totally forgot about it.

now however we have it again, i think it must be coz we prolly vape a bit higher voltage then on the mini's. the other thing am thinking of is that the metal of the mini helps the atty to loose it's heat more easely, as we notice the mini gets warmer at the top half. so am thinking that the wood doesn't do the same thing for our atty's.

after we let it cool down the awesome vape is right back, we really love our wooden vv's. is are there an atty that have less problem to overheat or is there some sort of other solution for this?
I'm using a Cisco 306, 2.5ohm atty. The catch cup gets pretty hot sometimes, but I haven't noticed a drop in flavor or vapor. I am keeping it a lot more wet than usual. (after several kick me in the throat dry hits)

(Although in very rare cases the door can actually warp some.)

I may have just suffered a little stroke while reading that. The reason I decided to treat the wood at all is the fact that the door has already warped. I'll be bummed if I need to sell it to someone who lives in a more humid climate.

Forgot to mention in lounge..... this past weekend DH dropped my Silver Grand into toilet after a #2 before flushing (water was clear). He cleaned everything up with shampoo (he was in hotel), put on a new carto, dry battery, refilled bottle, and kept on vaping. He didn't even give it time to dry out behind the delrin cover and it vaped as usual.

And that's why God made boiling water.:lol::lol::lol:

I'm pretty sure there are one or two European sellers of the IkenVape IO6; the 2.5 ohm is really nice :) The Siam io6 adapter sleeve, or gratefulvaper sleeve, lets you use whatever 510 dt you like

Mentionable is the fact that grateful vaper does seem to have some in stock.

Also a question: Is there anywhere but ikenvape to get a siam sleeve? Last I checked (like 4 hours ago) iken is still not live.

If I see a Grand up on the classifieds from you...I will NOT be purchasing it..lol. I really let it all hang out on here but dang Alice. No vaping for me during paperwork time. He should have given it the flush test.

Question on Batteries. Like most of you I have a drawer full of them. I have Spider Fire 4.2V 16340s and RCR 123 3V batteries. Can these be used in the VV Grand? Thanks

Yes, they will work. Spider Fire are cheap batteries and I don't know what brand of RCR123a batteries you have on hand.

The VV Reo deserves premium batteries, in my opinion. AW is the recommended battery because AW has a reputation for very good and consistent QC on the batteries they sell. AW doesn't manufacture them, but it's my understanding that they do test them and weed out the lesser performing batteries before applying their heat shrink and label and offering them for sale.

Got my bottle of Howard's today after work at Home Depot for $7.99.

Once my two VVW come out of their coffee coffin, i will get the insides looking good.

Thanks, all, for the tips on keeping these looking great!

My Ebony VV had almost no scent, on the other hand my new Curly Oak Reg Woodville is like vaping in a wood chipper. I am going to have to put the wax to it a second time/or third time and change the bottle.

Just got a tub of the Howard's Citrus shine hard wax in Dark Oak for my 3 ebony/ebony woods. All my doors are loose, or barely snug so I am in the clear. My ebony mini and 18490 (from what I gleamed from the pictures) seem pretty raw on the outside, don't see a finish on them at all. There was only one run of wood mini's and wood 18490's and they seem to be very similar.

I cant wait to see if the wood odor is gone or not.

When I got my Redwood Burl Woodville, it was stinky. Somebody used Boba's only in the thing for at least 6 months or more. I opened a coffee pod and put it inside a coffee filter and put it with the PV in a ziplock for 2 days and it was much better. Now all I vape out of it is Kona Creame Shake from Virgin Vapors, so it really added to the taste for a bit, but now it's calmed down. I might do it again just to get the flavor back!

Tru dat. Most IMR's are actually Panasonic and AW rigorously tests them and what they reject become other cheaper and less respectable brands. The AW name means extreme quality control. As I understand it, anyway.
