Is this where all the cool kids hang out? I put tape on my VVW on the door inside the seams and it stays shut now. I was thinking about using dental wax? Any other non tape suggestions?
Mine is tight so don't need any of that- got almost too tight to get off when it was really humid a few weeks ago. Alice has sanded hers- I am afraid to do that because I know when things get really dry, the door might rattle...like my mini woodvil. I think the tape is a good option... dont' think the wax would really work but you could try some waxed floss around the battery a few times...would come off easily enough (just unwind it)...

VVW. I believe i coined that name a month ago specifically to see if other REOnauts would use it and it looks like we have. :)

Though VVW is as short an easy as it gets for the REOs mods section of ECF, I think I'm going to go with "REO VVW" for the rest of ECF and the other forums I use. That will give those who don't know what it is at least a chance to figure it out themselves without having to insert, "What's a VVW?" in to whatever discussion thread I type it in.

It wouldn't be a big deal... but I've been talking a lot about the VVW lately. It's a damn fine device.

....And when the VV Grand comes out: VVG or for the rest of the EFC, "REO VVG"

Btw, you know when we type BT or FDA, how the acronym is underlined and you put your cursor on it, the real name shows up (try it!). We need to have the VVW and VVG registered so they do the same thing here on the ECF!!!

Maybe Rhaps knows how to get this done???

Thin, careful layer of super glue. Let it dry and lightly file if needed. Just on the edges of the door of course.

Something I've been noticing of late- so question for other VVW owners:
When the juice bottle gets less than half full, have you noticed that you can hardly sqounk? I have to open my door all the way and push the heck out of the bottle to get any juice to flow up to the atty. Filling the bottle up more takes care of the problem...but I hate to have to fill up a bottle when it gets down to about 3ml... Is anyone else having this issue, and if so, what are you/have you done about it? I have checked my o-ring and it is tight and everything is holding a seal.

Switch to your other bottle. I haven't really thought much about why it happened, but my mini acted like that - didn't seem to matter how much I mashed the bottle, it didn't feed well. I put a different bottle in it and never had that problem again.

I went through it just a couple days ago, with a little bit of a leak. When I took the door off and watched the bottle while squonking, I could see the juice ease into the cap and into the threads, and then out. First I changed bottles. It seemed to help for a few minutes. Then leaking again and no juice when squonking. Used a blunt tip needle to squirt hot water through the feed tube. Still not squonking or feeding. Took the o-ring out and let it sit in warm water a few minutes. The o-ring seems to have been my culprit. Squonking the bottles dry again.

had this too recently, noticed that the bottle was sitting a tat higher then when it arrived. basicly it was fitting better in it's space now, however as a result the tube was touching the bottom of the bottle, so took a scissor and clipped a very tiny bit off the tube. that did the trick :)

I trim my tubes on an angle right after they arrive:D

I have that issue with one of my VVW no matter how full my bottle is. I have to take the door off and use two hands to squonk it hard enough to get juice up into it. I've been meaning to change bottles out to see if that would fix it, but I just haven't taken the time to mess with it. It might be the O-ring causing it though. How hard are they to take off and put back on?
