Wadda think of j0ker?

As for you J0ker, maybe I caught you at a bad time the other day, but your reply to me sounded harsh. You said something to the effect that "you asked for it". I did not ask for an infraction, and didn't know that one was needed to close an account here. Other than that, you have always been nice to me, and a pleasure to deal with. Years ago I dealt with a bank who had a motto "the first person you deal with is the last person you deal with". They always kept their word, as anyone there could perform any task and do so professionally and with courtesy. I had contacted you after trying to contact Classwife and Sarge, and not getting any response from either. I just wanted you to pursue the matter in greater detail I guess. I hope we are still on good terms, and if I were a mod I would change my vote.

Now, feel free to express your feelings in a mature manner and there will be no repercussions. If you can't criticize in a mature manner, it would be best that you keep your comments to yourself. There will be zero tolerance for arguing, so state your thoughts and move on, should you choose.

Despite one of my main hangouts on ECF being a thread dedicated to locating j0ker, I have had little contact with him and no problems.

During the year I've been here I've repeatedly seen J0ker deal with the members here in a fair and reasonable manner- often going out of his way to help someone. I appreciate the time and effort he and the moderators expend in making this forum an enjoyable experience.

Elendil is the one who called me "childish" and "infantile". I think that when you have no intelligent thoughts, you resort to name calling.

Just because I speak my mind (something you can't always do here) doesn't make it "crap". If you feel the need to follow me around and moderate at other fora, then do so. I have a right to my opinions. You are not in my shoes, although from what you say you once were. I have repeatedly tried to get some cooperation from some of you regarding my past infractions, which, in my opinion, were not infractions at all. I regret contributing to ECF when I don't even get the courtesy of a reply to my PM's to those in charge. Apparently no one here thinks my contributions are worthy of taking a second look at my status, regardless of the fact that I am a verified member, and a supporting member.

Again, I do not feel that leaving the forum should require a permanent 10 point infraction. I use to moderate a forum, and I know better.

There is obviously no solution here, as I have taken all of the avenues available to me, so I will take a leave of absence from ECF.

No, I got infractions and rule reminders because I broke the rules. I didn't whine and cry about it, I just accepted the fact that I broke the rules and moved on.

You've been told repeatedly that only the moderators and you can even see the infraction history, so what is the issue?

The forum software will not be changed just to make you feel better. Taking a leave of absence sounds like a mature way to handle the situation. Posting that you are taking a leave of absence sounds like a cry for attention. Just my 2 cents.

FYI: we can read your edits... since you know so much about forums I'm sure you knew that too?

Well, j0ker is the only member of the staff that has an ECF group named after him. Even one of your moderators is a member of the j0kers.

Well I may never be verrified. I usually buy from sites or build what I need. I go through the local stores (I do not trust eBay) or other auctioning sites. And have never used Paypal. Or intend to use PayPal. So if I do not get verified by the four methods listed I don't care. If someone is verified. Good for them. I like this forum. I might even support it.

I had an infraction soon after I joined. We all make mistakes, some more than others. We're not oblivious to that fact and generally can overlook most things. That's why the Rule Reminder was created.

I can't really go into details about my infraction (because oldsoldier is chomping at the bit to get me on something) but it was meant as a joke (remember I' j0ker ). Of course I was P.O.ed when I found it had been deleted, I was like "WTH, y'all can't take a joke". I will tell you this, the post had to do with vaping and ......, I'll let you imagine the rest! I finally understood my mistake and moved on.

Actually, it's more that I'm so slow. By the time I finish typing my replies (full of screaming and obscenities) I've forgotten why I was mad, I start over with my reply and it all comes out nicely
