I haven't.. only because SOMEONE (*cough*Biance*cough*) got me hooked on cartos.. and I love them, and also love not topping off.. when will they come out with a LR carto? sheesh!!

They have them, they just burn (or at least in my world they do) so easy!

They have LR cartos........my experience with them is that they don't imitate higher voltage the experience as well as a LR atty. JMO. I see carto Queen struck again! boB

Edit to add Boges Rock.....cause I know she's watching;)

are those the silver ones? I have to ask her all the time what the difference is lol.. I can never remember..

Truman is putting out some LR cartos w/ silver threads, and of all the one's I've tried out, those perform the best, I still like the taste of my juice better in the Boges at standard 2.7 to 3.0 resistance at 3.7v, however.

and those are the ones you got from Litecig, right? That's where I buy my silver threads.. once he sent me gold. I emailed and asked if it was a mistake, and he said it was.. he said he would mail the new ones out, and i could keep the mistake ones.. now I will only buy them from him..

Yeah, I only buy from Litecig when they've got them in stock. I added a link in that other post for the LR trumans, they're at Vapors Etc. Now, cartos go lower resistance than that even, but I swear, I burn lower than that on 3 hits or LESS every freakin' time! Let me go look at the SLB's I had from Ikenvape...I didn't burn those...be back!

OK, well, the ones I had from Ikenvape were 3.0ohm, so that explains why I didn't manage to burn them (still going with Boges over them though, although the draw a bit tighter...I couldn't get as much juice in them and over all, the Boge lasts longer). Then I got distracted by this (let me just say that this poor man is a nervous wreck in front of a camera! Lord!): Premium 510 Cartomizer These are rated at 2.9ohm, so can't see really how they'd be any different than a Boge but they certainly cost more.

I get the feeling that I'm going to be treading into water that's way over my head, but have you looked at the 510 VGo's, Bianca? They're being advertised as 3.7-4.0v and come in both 510 and 808 threads.

I'm fairly certain that the CigEasy Elegant and VaporNine Defender are both 808 VGo's minus the LED light on the tip. The Elegant was tested on a multimeter somewhere here on these forums and did clock in at the advertised levels.

I'm actually using an Elegant too. If you want, I can see if my husband can yank out his multimeter and test mine when he gets home from work. It's an 808 though so not sure if that will be true to the 510 form.

Definately want, kinda need:

a pair of 14250 protected batts. I have a nice mod here and its just collecting dust.

Would make it worth your while.
(free repairs for you gear? maybe a "get out of trouble" card?)

If not then deffinately some Karma points.LOL

KarrMcDebt

lol...I have 4 14250 protected batteries....but I gots no $ for shipping....I did get them from madvapes though...

Well, I also heard that the 5v pt running thru the pc isn't quite 5v, more like 4v  but someone can correct me if I am wrong.. I have an inverter thing in my car that has USB ports on it so I could use that in the car.. and also have a usb to outlet thing for my phone and ipod that i think i could use, but I think someone said that would be more like the true 5v, which I can't do.. strange, huh?

yeah it comers down to the mA output of the device versus the Amp draw of the atty at a given voltage...most of them arent going to put out a true 5V (the voltage will sag until the amp draw versus amp output equals out with some adapters not being able to push a PT at all).... example.... some car adapters are rated for 500mA, 1000mA, 2000mA..... a 510 amp draw at 5V is 2.17A, standard carto 1.67A, boge carto 1.56A.... so the 500mA adapter is woefully underpowered, the 1000mA or 1500mA somewhat underpowered for cartos, and the 2000mA one almost enough for a 510 but true 5V for cartos...

that elegant wasn't tested under load though.....it was unloaded voltage....someone else tested it under load and same as the eGo/riva/t-rex/maxx/hello...the problem is the voltage has to be tested with the atty/carto in place (or similar resistance) and while the button is being pressed...

I dunno if it's ADD or what, but as soon as numbers get thrown into the equation my brain shuts down, and I can't make much sense of it.:oops:

WANT:

Ok guys I am going to post a want. I am in search of a few good HV juices. I have been vaping at around 4.5 volts on my BUZZ and I just cant seem to find any juices that hold up real well.
Samples would be cool--would absolutely be willing to pay shipping or trade some juices I have. Even if no samples are available, just some suggestions would be great!!

Thanks everyone!!

K guys...

Even if nobody has any samples thats ok...just some suggestions would be great.

Thank you

:p

lol...ok.... the car adapters and portable battery packs and wall adapters etc...have an output rating....expressed in milliamps...

the atty or carto at a give voltage has an amp draw....

in most cases the adapters etc...the output doesnt meet what the amp draw would be...

so if it can only output a max amount... and the resistance of the atty is a fixed value...then the voltage has to drop to get the amp draw to drop...
